I have been using P-Touch label makers for years. I started out with the older series that uses M - tapes. The machine is simple and easy to use. Then I purchase the LabelMaker with all the bells and whistles that uses TZe 1" tape cartridges. You just pop it in and it's ready to use just like the older model. I use this specific size of tape to rename certain functions on a radio transceiver I use in flight simulation, as well as to semipermanently name channels on a digital mixer I use in the studio. As lockdown forces me to address things I havent looked at for years namely filing and organising paperwork I can see this will also come in very handy for labelling files and boxes.It will be a long time before I have used the full length of this tape. Both tapes I ordered worked great and the website was extremely helpful in deciding which ones I needed for my label maker in terms of size and color. But thats not even the best part. When submitting my order, they asked if I had any extra requests, so I asked for a pun on the package. And they obliged

Have purchased this P-touch with the black on clear tape and it works great. Have been applying the tape to clear plastics containers for labeling my Hot Wheels. The tape blends well with plastic, but the lettering stands out, as if just the letters were applied to the container. It works well, and now I need a refill. Applying the tape is easy. Easiest to remove the backing, it curls a little, but does not stick to itself. Very satisfied on application and looks.
The Brother P-Touch 1/2” tape for label maker is the best! Very durable and versatile to stick on most any surfaces. This is easy to install. The detail and precision of this tape is awesome. Will definitely purchase more for our label maker.
So far this product which is clear tape with black ink has been really good. Wasn’t sure how good it was until I started using it. It’s one of the best I’ve used. It’s strong and leaves perfect lines. It’s also at a good price compared to others. Go and get one to try it out.

I had loaned my cousin my Brother Label Maker. When returned, she sent it back with an off brand cartridge. No matter what I did to make it work, it would not print anything. Went to Staples and received excellent help from two young men. Of course the Brother cartridge works beautifully. Many thanks to the two young men that helped me!!!

Item: Black on clear tapeI like the simplicity of the black on clear tape because it looks minimal, simple and satisfying. Using the product was very simple to use. I like that the tape is easy to paste on items. Removing it from the paper on the back which has two slits was an easy process. I did not struggle with it to be able to add it to the items I needed to label. It also did not stick to itself like regular tape does, it stay its form. The tape is also thick and good quality. I labeled a bottle that became wet and the tape remained in place. I would suggest to not label dark items because the label becomes very difficult to see.
