Had this Realtree Camo edition Bug-A-Salt for about 2 weeks now and it’s awesome. Seems to have a little more power than the original version but that might just be me. Love the new safety on it , it’s more like a real rifle safety and you don’t have to push it every time you shoot like the older versions. The trigger is a little harder to pull than the older versions but you get used to it. Soon as I can I’m gonna order other versions of the Bug A Salt, they have so many cool colors to choose from. One day I’m gonna have one of each of them. They are so much fun.

Stay a safe distance away from those eight legged menaces and dispatch them with ease. Especially when they're on the ceiling and you don't want to risk it dropping on you, stand to the side and blast away! One shot drops them lifeless to the floor for easy disposal. Bought this almost as a joke gift but wouldn't be without it now. Great way to get the (older) kids to take care of business without having to call mom or dad. Use it with respect though and be careful around other people.

I saw the ad online for a long time, but I thought first, that it cannot work. Last month I found this ad clip again, but meanwhile version 3.0, so I decided to read the reviews and watch some further clips on youtube. My decision was to buy this gadget and it works really good. It's worth the five stars. The gun feels good and heavy in the hand, and it's a lot of fun to hunt the flies. The distance of 90-100cm between the gun and the target is a little beat to much, 50-70cm is much better for aiming and powerful shot. All under 40cm is total destruction ;-) Unfortunately the laser beam was not availiable, so I have to wait.

I bought a Bug-A-Salt gun as a father's day gift, and my dad absolutely loves it! My ma updates me regularly, sharing that whenever my dad spots any kind of bug, no matter how big or small, he immediately springs into action. He grabs his salt gun and transforms into a bug hunting secret agent, rolling around on the floor as if he's on a critical mission. So safe to say a very happy customer.Bug-A-Salt not only offers an entertaining product but also provides excellent service with fast shipping that charges no extra cost. I'm definitely planning to purchase another one for my partners dad as a christmas gift!- Shelby
The Bug-A-Salt 3.0 is a fun and effective solution to deal with flying insects in and around my home. It combines the satisfaction of shooting with a salt gun and the utility of pest control. The gun itself is designed to resemble a shotgun, providing a unique and enjoyable experience for users. I enjoy the laser as well. The new 3.0 has sufficient power to sort them nasty flies out.
Loaded the gun with fine salt, and set about trying to find the annoying blue bottle fly that got into the house. I did try to coax the fly out by having the window and door open, but it stubbornly flew around inside thinking it was the boss. Well, time had come to try my new Bug A Salt...locked and loaded with fine salt in its holder I set about room to room until I heard the familiar buzzing sound. The fly finally settled down on the window, with the bug a salt i carefully aimed it and squeezed the trigger...in a blink of an eye the fly was nowhere to be seen. After a couple of minutes looking finally found the bugger, the lifeless fly legs was up and wasn't moving. Picked up the fly and tossed it to the nearest spider web...
I was aprehensive about buying this because it is an investment for something that may not work. However, not only is it effective (though larger flys may need a finishing shot) surprisingly accurate, and entertaining, it appears to be solid and well made. The wife raised an eyebrow when I unboxed it but by her own admission was soon 'running round the house like G.I. Jane'I would totally recomend Bug-A-Salt.
When my best friend visited, he was very impressed by my Bug-A-Salt and I decided to give it to him for his birthday. I've now bought my 2nd Bug-A-Salt and am planning to buy a 3rd one (this time for another friend). They are fun. And useful. They do work at a fair range and a great for reaching mosquitos that hide above bookshelves. Sure, sometimes the insect survives and you need to reload, but I usually one-shot-kill flies, mosquitoes, midges and daddy-long-legs. Strongly recommended!!!
I've wanted a Bug-A-Salt for ages but amongst life's responsibilities and hassles it was something I just never got around to getting. Now older and able to prioritise life's issues I decided to finally do it - This decision was also influenced by having an infestation of False Widow spiders in the house. They attack and they punch a nasty bite - I have been able to return the compliment fully - attacking from the back to avoid the things scuttling swiftly into a crack or crevice - its 'Blap' and the last thing to go through the bitey eight legged creatures minds are their buttholes!! This is a brilliant product and oh so much fun to use - Wish I'd got one years ago. My goal now is to knock out a big fat juicy blue bottle in mid-flight - skill of skills and how ... MoreI've wanted a Bug-A-Salt for ages but amongst life's responsibilities and hassles it was something I just never got around to getting. I got mine a couple of weeks ago and I must say it is a really reliever. It is so much less stressful to know you do not have reach these annoying jerks, with a swatter or similar and if any have to vacuum a little bit afterwards in the cases I use it in my flat. But I could also leave it and just get rid of the remnants, because it is just normal salt. It could own a little more effective range, though. Therefore my kill counter is somewhere above 25 right now, for I stopped counting and just keep reloading.Good hunting fellas!
