Burt's Bees Lip Balm Pomegranate 4.25g

I can’t use any other flavor. I love this one so much, love the price point and how the ingredients are more natural. But my friends hate this flavor so I guess it’s not universally loved. Also does not cause your lips to dry out after repeated use, unlike other lip balms. I like to store it at room temperature, so it is a little softer/smoother when I apply it. I’m not sure how to describe it— not the waxy gross softness chapsticks get, but almost like a light oily spreadability… it’s just really great quality chapstick for his price point 🕺

This is my first Burts bee lip balm. I decided to try it because it always has good reviews. I like the way it glides on. It makes my lips feel soft. It has a nice scent to it. It has a nice flavor to it as well. It's red so it adds a little bit of a tint to the lips, so if you're like me and like to put on a few layers of lip balm you might want to cut back. I have extremely dry, chapped lips due to dry mouth, this lip balm didn't really do anything for me. I applied at night and woke up with the same dry, chapped lips. I tried it for several nights with no change. It did feel good on my lips though.

I love this lip balm because it’s very moisturizing and shiny. After applying, my lips definitely feel softer and smoother. This balm adds a little gloss and tint to the lips which I find very cute! However, if you’re not a fan of strong scented lip products, this isn’t for you. The smell can be overwhelming and nauseating at times! Overall, it’s a great lip balm if you want moisture and a hint of color!

I love how this lip balm is creamy yet not sticky. I also like how you can smell the fragrance when you put it on your lips but you won’t taste it when you drink or eat anything! The smell of this lip balm is also not too sweet. I personally don’t like it when products have a fake sweet smell and luckily this product seems to have a natural pomegranate smell! I recommend this product for those who want a lip balm that is very reliable. Aesthetically it is not the “cutest” but it gets the job done!

This is the first lip balm from Burt’s Bees that I’ve tried, and I was pleasantly surprised by it. The formula is very creamy, and right after application my lips already feel softer. This lip balm is also very long lasting. I’ve found that I don’t have to reapply it often. The only thing I didn’t really like about this lip balm personally was the pomegranate flavor, it isn’t bad but it also isn’t my favorite. However, that doesn’t take away from the fact that this is a great lip balm.

I love this Burt's Bees lip balm with color. I hate lipstick as it is generally toxic and greasy and far too bright. Lipstick always dries out my lips and leaves an unattractive shadow when removed. This product is wonderful. It protects and conditions your lips while at the same time adding just a little color, especially for aging lips, which for some reason seem to become whitish, like hair, with time. It comes in many colors; you can experiment to see what is most becoming on you. I don't like the darkest one, but this color is my favorite. If I wear light colors I use peony, and there is a pretty peachy color, although it is not a good one for me. This does not last a long time; if you want long lasting you want to go with a natural lip stain, and then use this on top for conditioning your lips. I don't care that it doesn't last long. I just apply it again after eating or drinking a beverage as it would come off in any case because I am wiping my lips clean. It takes very little to cover and while a little pricey, one of these lasts me about a year. I have four colors and alternate them. I always have one in my purse and highly recommend this product. You can often buy them together on sale and get a great price

Enjoy these balms - but not this one

I have been enjoying trying different Burt's Bees scents. I haven't tried much of the fruit. I have had a few sips of organic pomegranate juice. I thought it to be very tart. Anyways, as a lip balms lover, I try all flavors or scents. This scent was very off-putting to me, but may just be my preference. I didn't like the texture either, it was very grainy. I gave it 2 stars because I haven't had much exposure to pomegranate but this scent was very floral in the tube and my lips. I wasn't a fan. I will continue other scents though!!!

Sadly disappointed

I’ve exclusively used Burt’s bees for years, my favorite has ALWAYS been coconut & pear, the store didn’t have any that wasn’t in a 2/4 pack. So I tried to branch out and got a pack that contained mango, pink grapefruit and pomegranate along with the coconut pear. I was most excited to try the pomegranate as that’s my favorite fruit. I was expecting something fruity/juicy smelling, something like pomegranate, but it smelled and tasted very much like spices, very like nature-y but not fruity at all like expected. Burts bees is my favorite, no other brand has met their standard, but I’m not sure if there has been issues with the batches that went into the multi packs? Or if it’s supposed to taste and smell like that. Tbh, was looking for a product to meet the min spend amount. I also happened to be looking for a lipbalm. Read the good reviews and decided to get this. 1. It does moisturise without too much of the greasy feel. However i live in a humid climate so not sure how moisturising it will be in a dry climate. 2. The pale tint does not show up for me as my lips are relatively dark. 3. Would have been great if there is spf 4. Tube design could be improved. The turn knob is only at the end so twisting the product up or down is not that convenient. 5. With the factors above the overall price performance ratio isnt that great. Think I’ll stick to Nivea’s Med Repair for now till i find a better or luxurious one.
