Have only tried them on at home as we ordered these following our Japan snow trip in Jan and Feb. Will not use them now till season 2024. But they look and feel great. Several of our friends were using them this season and they worked well for them.

This board is sooooo much fun. Great on piste and on powder. Rode it on some 30cm powder at Andermatt a few weeks back and the board floated well, without me having to put a lot of extra effort. Edge grips well one icy surface. Turning is easy. I don't ride switch much so can't comment on that. I used to ride a much stiffer board, so this one although it's a 6/10 in flex, I still think it's soft enough; not too soft and not too stiff where it's hard to control. 2 thumbs up.

The ability to not strap in and have the control and response of regular straps is amazing. I can ride longer because I am not as tired/sore from bending over/getting up and down from straping in. There is a learning curve on getting out efficiently.

I have these matched up with Burton Kendo traditional lace boots. Really like the combination. I have always ridden aluminum based binding from Bent Metal so I wanted a stiff baseplate. These are softer than aluminum but do the job. Really impressed with the Step On setup.
I have all step on models (M size), X is the Lightest. About 733 g for M size while other models are about 769 g. Slightly more responsive.
I was skeptical about this at first but after trying them, I love them. They are so much quicker than strapping in normal boots and bindings. I can just click in and go. They are definitely stiff enough to have total control and have no play in them, they are completely secure.
Bindings seemed nice during a quick session. They are definitely lighter weight. The mounting discs are the same old junk that doesn't properly hold them down to the deck. The gloss splatter on matte black colorway is kind of weird. The 2.0 toe hooks didn't feel much different from the original. Not sure the price difference from the standard bindings is worth the slight upgrades.
Always a fan of Burton boots and bindings, decided this year is the year to go strapless. Got them mounted on my 22 Sims ATV, and they look good! Easy in when practicing, little bit to get used to when getting out. Looking forward to the season. 👍 #sweepstakes
I got my first pair of step on x's last year. I live in northern Michigan and our runs are pretty quick. These were a game changer for quick in and out without sacrificing performance. Would highly recommend
The bindings make it really easy to step into the board even while moving. They also offer supreme control over your board with a very stiff feel.I feel very safe using these. Only frustration is the pop mechanism is a small lever that's a bit hard to reach. Wish there was a clasp or something larger to press to release the boot. You have to look down and use one finger to find the latch and pull it. It becomes a bit easier with practice but still wish there was a pulley or something to make the lever a bit more accessible for stepping out of the boot.
