Byoma Moisturising Gel Cream 50ml

When using this Byoma moisturizing gel-cream every day in the morning and night for two weeks, I noticed that when I was not using makeup my skin felt hydrated, light and refreshed throughout the day. But the days I used make up, this moisturizer was not really for me. I needed more moisture in my face and I use it along with the hydrating serum as well. My face felt dehydrated and dull but I always seal my makeup with setting powder in certain areas and that’s the reason I prefer a heavier moisturizer when I use makeup. The packaging it’s very cute with a pink color but the pump started to make a squishy noise and there were days that I keep pressing and product didn’t come out. I had to get product by twisting the cap and opening the bottle. I think the pump in this item was defective because the pump on the jelly cleanser worked so well. I recommend this product for normal skin type or acne prone skin type, overall a great moisturizer that is affordable and effective.

It almost has the consistency of the type of frosting you use to build gingerbread houses. It’s moist enough, but not drippy and not too dry either. The texture and consistency of this product is like the goldilocks of moisturizers. When the moisturizer is too watery, it actually amplifies my dryness because of all that water evaporating off my skin. This often leaves my skin feeling dry merely 15 minutes after applying. With this product, nothing is evaporating. It really did absorb completely, and it quenched my extremely chapped chin - which is no small feat. My sample was 0.03 oz, and my only disappointment was that I didn’t have more. This product features niacinamide and green tea, as well as something the company calls “Tri-Ceramide Complex.” This is a complex of ceramides, fatty acids, and cholesterol (never heard of cholesterol skincare, is this new?). I honestly felt like I was feeding my skin when I was smoothing this onto my face, and the richness of these ingredients is evident. It’s also oil free and vegan. I might actually have to pick up a full size. Was not expecting to like this as much as I did!

I bought this gel cream a few months ago, i use it consistently every day or every other day, layered with different toners and serums. Its texture is nice, light and it absorbs nicely. It does not have any smell too. I like the formulation a lot, seems to be everything that oily skin should enjoy. And yet, here come the disadvantages... My skin gets super oily after like an hour after applying this. Not oily, but very greasy looking, super oily. Its acceptable if i use oil absorbing sunscreen, otherwise it just looks gross. Then the packaging; it's just so bad. I have around 1/4 left and now pump doesnt work so I have to use cavemen methods to get out the remaining product. Should be hygenic but then its really not. Will not repurchase.

Amazing product/Bad packaging

Best moisturizer I have ever used. I have combo skin and get dry around my chin/mouth but sooo oily in my t-zone. This has really helped balance my skin out. The bakuchiol has been amazing and has completely erased my forehead lines. I will say you need to use it consistently to see this benefit. If I don’t use it for a few days, the lines start to become more noticeable but once I go back to it for a day or two it’s like magic. Didn’t really want to get Botox so I am extremely happy I’ve found this. The down side is the packaging as many have mentioned. While it is super cute, the pump needs improving. Not even halfway through the bottle and it’s done pumping out product. Things I really loved about this moisturiser:- The price, it's so reasonable compared to many other brands- The texture, quite a lightweight gel that absorbed quickly into my skin and also layered well with other skincare, no Pilling!- The formula, really like the mix of niacinamide and ceramides, made my skin really soft and hydrated and the niacinamide helped a bit with blocked pores on my noseThings I hated about this moisturiser: the packaging! Great mosituriser for combi skin, but packaging needs a revamp

I really loved this moisturising gel cream! I was looking for skincare on a budget and wanted to find a gel cream as normal moisturisers are too much for my combination/oily skin. It was lightweight, easy to apply and absorbed nicely, allowing me to layer on my primer and foundation flawlessly. Unfortunately like many other users, I experienced the fall back of the packaging (although super cute - the pump broke towards the end of the bottle) and I could clearly see some product left inside, but had no way of getting it out. I tried using the pump straw to scoop the remaining product out when it broke, but couldnt reach into the corners of the bottom of the bottle. so disappointed I had to toss it out after not being able to get the remnants. This product was gifted to me by BYOMA! I was excited to try this product because its supposed to be a lightweight gel cream. My current go-to moisturizer is about the same consistency but often takes quite a while to absorb and leaves my face feeling sticky. This product especially grabbed my attention because it has additional ingredients like niacinamide and green tea and I wasn’t sure whether these extra ingredients would make me break out. Normally, I gravitate towards simple moisturizers that don’t have other properties besides hydrating my skin, so I’m interested to see how this affects my skin in the long run. Nice lightweight moisturizer

Gifted by Byoma. Although I've never tried anything from this brand before I've been intrigued seeing it in stores so I was very excited to try this. First, I have to say I love the packaging- it's simple yet unique. The instructions are clear but more importantly, the ingredients are listed along with their purpose. With other brands, you see a paragraph of ingredients with big scary words that you don't know but having each one explained is really appreciated and assures me that I'm putting something safe onto my skin. Onto the actual product, I tried this on dry/clean skin and definitely found it to balance and hydrate. It fully absorbed with no residue left, no fragrance, and made my skin look healthy.

Pump easily clogs

I was gifted by BYOMA in exchange for an honest review! I've used BYOMA before but this formula was new to me. Unfortunately, the way the products pumps often gets clogged and I have to vigorously shake the contents to unclog. I've had this issue with their package design in other products and I think sadly it's a huge drawback to using it. While the pump is more sanitary that sticking fingers in a jar, it's frustrating to not have a sense of how much product is left. Overall, the formula is fine. It's not a standout but it left my dry, sensitive skin happily moisturized. It's on the lighter side, so if you have parched skin like mine it may be best for daytime use as a complement to a richer moisturizer in the evening.
