With the 1. L NEW Chute Mag Vacuum, you can get a cold drink and a smooth pour, even in the backcountry. The new magnetic top keeps the cap out of the way while you drink. This vacuum-insulated bottle keeps liquids cold for 24 hours (even longer if you add ice), and hot for six. The sturdy, double-walled steel design keeps condensation from collecting on the sides of the bottle, and the powder-coat paint job adds some extra colour. The narrow-mouthed opening also makes it easy to drink and pour without spilling, so you won';t waste a single drop. After all, nobody wants to end a long, exhausting day with a lukewarm drink.

I’ve recently tried Camelback Chute Mag insulated stainless steel bottle and it’s wonderful. The insulation which allow the item keeps cold or hot is amazing, it has a double -walled vacuum insulation maintains your drink’s temperature for hours and prevents condensation from collecting on the vessel. Magnetic cap adheres securely to the lid top when open and stays out of the way while you drink. The whole cap is leakproof. The handle is sturdy. The bottles quality is perfect. The durable and convenient carry loop is perfect for on-the-go hydration. It is easy to clip on a carabiner or carry with a finger.

I started with the Camelbak plastic, 32 Oz. bottles. Then my daughter came with her mag-chute bottle and had water in it. I was only using mine for coffee. One day I was out with her and dying of thirst. Took a sip out of her mag-chute and was amazed at how cold the water was on a very hot summer day. Since that day my husband and I use our mag-chute daily. Fluids keep cold and warm. Easy to clean and completely leak-proof.

Awkward Cap, Rubbery Smell

The build quality of the bottle appears to be solid. However, the cap is awkward to use as you have to pull it away from the spout in a certain way to open the bottle. Same issue when going to screw the cap back on, you have to put effort into fitting it back onto the spout. Additionally, the bottle being new has a rubbery smell/taste that is dissatsifying when drinking from the bottle. I hope this smell/taste may disappear after more uses/washes.

Gave as a gift, and recipient loves it. Water stays cold in a hot car all day, or as long as the water lasts! The bottle doesn't hold as much water as our favourite large camelback bottle, but having cold water is such a blessing on a hot day. We've found room temp water doesn't get icy cold in the fridge overnight with the lid on because the insulation is so good. So we fill with cold water or chill in the bottle overnight with the lid off. Thanks for another fantastic water bottle!

Fantastic water bottle
21 January 2023

I love this water bottle! Love the insulation. Keeps water cold. Nearly eliminates condensation. The metal construction looks like it will be very durable. The mag cap is convenient and the opening is easy to drink from, but it does require two hands to open when it's closed all the way. I also got the Eddy+ cap and straw with the bite valve, which provides one hand operation. I really like this cap at night by my bed.Nearly the perfect size (25oz) for everyday use. Fits in my car cup holders. Note that for extended trips or heavy exertion away from water sources you'll need to bring a larger water container.Highly recommended.

Great bottle but difficult to clean
17 February 2023

Super happy with the bottle. I have been using it over a year. I literally use it every single day. Only gripe I have is that the cap is hard to clean. There are small areas on the interior of the cap on which mould can accumulate even after putting it in the dishwasher. This is particularly the case on the rubber seals on the interior of the cap. So pay close attention to these areas. I now use a tooth brush to get to those difficult to access areas. I am sure Camelbak could come up with a solution around this issue.

Great thermos

This is a great, robust thermos. What I like most about the stainless steel thermos:1) Large 25oz. Liquid capacity/volume is perfect.2) Definitely leakproof (see pic below). I tested this out because I’ve had numerous water bottles and thermoses that claim to be leakproof and are not.3) Sleek look4) I have yet to test the temperature capabilities. I haven’t used this in extreme temps yet. But it does keep my water cold. The areas that could use improvement:1) Twist off cap is slightly inconvenient. When I’m at work I need something quicker to open. I work in a school with children and I need to be able to access my beverage quickly2) The diameter of the water bottle is slightly large for my hands (and I don’t have small hands). My go to bottle for hiking
6 August 2023

I like almost everything about this water bottle. It’s a nice sturdy stainless steel bottle, I like the color and texture a lot. The large handle is great because some bottles just have a finger loop which is uncomfortable to hold especially when full. The wider handle on this one means I can hold it with multiple fingers and it’s comfortable to take on walks. It has a magnetic closure but if you just use that without screwing it down then it will leak when turned upside down. When fully screwed down it is watertight. I am not sure the purpose of the magnetic closure? The closure doesn’t hinder it’s use though, I just screw the lid on instead of using it.

SOLID!
24 April 2024

I bought this as a replacement for my gallon stainless steel that I left in the gym. - I didn't understand what the mag-top meant, until I opened it to drink and the flap didn't slap my nose. Incredible. - Insulated stainless steel. Nice feel, sturdy and does keep liquid hot OR cold for a great period of time (It says 32 hours cold, 12 hours hot). - Affordable, at only $20 this was a steal. ONE ISSUE: The pics shows different tops, under the illusion that it comes with different ones. It only comes with the top that's attached in the picture. It's magnet, so I have no qualms about turning the bottle upside-down, but just so you know.

Works great for hot drinks
7 November 2023

I got this for hot liquids since all my other water bottles are cold liquids only. It works great for both and I like it more than I thought I would. I like the magnetic lid. If you just want something for cold liquids that are not bubbly, I really like the owala bottles. But after being stupid and causing several small explosions, I decided I needed something non-pressurized as well.
