Absolute amazing Sharpness. I would say that very close to the 35mm 1.4L II. IS is incredible to have in a 1.4 lens. Construction is to last forever, and the focus ring is very smooth and well dampened ,and has a good rotation to work with precise focus.

This lens works flawlessly on the Canon R6 with the control ring adapter. Eye/Tracking Auto Focusing is super fast and accurate, image quality and rendering is top notch. On the EF mount camera, it is just as capable,. This is just my opinion and non scientific. I absolutely love everything about this lens. The IS works great which makes this lens a great low light performance. This lens is hard to beat if it fits your shooting style.

Pros: I am using this lens with my Canon R, This is the best EF 85mm lens I prefer to carry with me. Fist auto focus and IS is amazing . Much batter then 85mm 1.2. thanks canonCons: Nothing Wrong with this lens.

Pros: This is an amazing lens...excellent quality image & fantastic to work with. The weight of this lens gives it a nice feel to use. Though slightly expensive perhaps - I feel it's one of those lenses that's well worth saving for.Cons: So far...none.
Great lens for portraits when wide open, sharp as a tack and awesome bokeh, also surprisingly good in low light, with a very effective IS. If you're photographing in bright sunlight, you'l need a polarising or neutral filter to get the best out of this low DOF lens
