Little disappointed I didn't do more homework on this Canon replacing a Epson CD printer (due to poor after sales service).Too many options with printing selection compared to other that once set remained set. Need now to check settings before each print. Don't see any benefits with two paper trays? Haven't made a photo paper print as yet but satisfied with text printing so far.

Bought this printer in April this year, have now found out that it is an Officeworks exclusive product and that you cant get ink from anywhere else due to this agreement. I have now found that just about every store for Officeworks in my area is out of stock and you cant buy the ink online. Printer is now useful for nothing no ink available!!!!

As long aa you scan the QR code on the box this printer is incredible BLT easy to setup with instructional videos on their website. Works great with scanning copying and the printing quality is fabulous. I recommend this to every one who wants a small compact high quality printer with everything you need built in!!!

I have had this printer for two years and it was the worst purchase I have ever made. This thing NEVER works, is constantly breaking and is completely unresponsive to my phone or computer. I hate the person who suggested that this was a good printer for a student as it has cost me more money than it was worth. Worst purchase ever.
Brought this a month or so ago, and works maybe 10% of the time. Doesn't want to connect to the phone app, doesn't want to stay connected to the home computer. Says it's offline when its clearly not. Says it doesn't have paper, when there's paper in both the front and in the back. It has caused much stress with not working. I didn't check the reviews before buying- but I plead to you- the person who is standing in front of this thing, wondering if they should buy it! Don't! Pay a few extra dollars, and try the one next to it, or the isle over, but for the love of god, don't buy this thing.P.S- I don't even really care that you can only buy the ink from officeworks- but the thing is so unreliable
Purchased 1 month ago and have had nothing but problems, can only copy and print. When printing files over wifi, It told me it was out of ink. Replaced ink cartridges, printed 5 pages of a 13 page report and again says out of ink. Straight in the garbage bin. Waste of money!
Waste of money. Paper gets stuck, there's always an error when you want to print. Sometimes works and others randomly shows messages about not recognising the paper, or paper not the right size- It's the same paper I always use! Foreign object detected?! really? then after tuning on and off for 30 minutes, it works. If you have work to do and need efficiency, do not buy this printer. Print quality is not amazing either. Also the ink doesn't last much. I'n my 42 years of life I've never had a worst experience with a printer or any device.
I bought this in April and everything works as it should. Scans, prints and copies great. But now it has run out of ink. Officeworks is the only supplier for this model in Australia and also the ink. They are out of stock of the ink and now I cannot print. I recommend to not buy an exclusive product.
I bought this for my iMac after completely failing with a new HP that would not work at all. The setup was very simple: it came with a booklet that took me through it step by step (no such thing for the HP). It works really well and I am very happy with it. Scanning multiple pages is also easy.
The printer is exclusive to officeworks and therefore you can only buy the ink from office works and if you're located in a place like myself you can only get online, then postage costs so much!Also you need to replace both the black and the colour ink to be able to print. Even if you only want to print black and white. Not worth it. Really disappointing, the sales assistants should make this clear when customers want to buy.
