To be honest, I haven't yet tested this lens in a range of conditions. But so far, I am very pleased with the results.

Pros: I have been kept in by a certain virus and by bad weather, so the 24-105 has not had a good test yet. First indoor pictures are promising. Small aperture at 105mm forces use of high ISO, but quality still good. F7.1 is the price worth paying for light weight and moderate size of lens. RP files need different treatment in DPP softwarecompared to those from older Canon cameras.Cons: Could not find any serial number on the 24-105, which gave me a moment of alarm, as I wondered if this could be a pirate copy! However, Canon Gateway accepted the camera serial number as the lens number.
