I?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. This was very pleasant and worked well on steak. Yes there is noticeable salt, but I would want that anyway even in a home made marinade. Very convenient and the packaging is well considered. I suspect it will also work well with chicken.

I received this product from Ocado in exchange for a review. Lovey aroma in opening the tin and I used it liberally to season some chicken thighs before roasting. A good flavour of a little sweet. I?ll finish the tin but not sure I?d buy this as sugar levels are too high for my liking.

Was sent this product to review. This is a flavour we enjoy so I was looking forward to trying it out. Used it on steak and the flavour was good but found it a bit salty for my preference. Good sized jar so will last for a while if you are a small household.

I?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I never add salt to food so I found this to be very salty for my taste although salt is a very good tenderiser so I understand why it is used. It is made with good ingredients (without lots of additives) so I will use it again, just not so liberally, and see how good it is with chicken.
I was invited to try this and submit a review. I tried a very little amount rubbed over a chicken . It was tasty, I must admit, but I probably would not buy it since it has ridiculous levels of salt and sugar. Must be used sparingly, if at all, otherwise very unhealthy. Particularly if you have the following health issues : pre-diabetes, diabetes or high blood pressure.
This really perks up whatever it?s been sprinkled on and is so versatile. It?s also a good base to add more spices to heat it up further. It?s a regular purchase for us.. but beware the salt is high.
Holy cow, there is so much salt in this! It really should be classified as a salt with some spices and herbs. The flavors of the herbs/spice blend are nice, but the brisket and ribs both came out far too salty. I had to throw the rub out because it just makes the meat inedible.
I was kindly sent this by Ocado to review. I won't just be using it on steak. I have tried it out to make homemade burgers and everyone loved them. I think it would also be good on Salmon and Chicken. I think it is worth the money as it will last a long time.
I agree with almost all the other comments about this rub. I tried it on steak, which I cooked in a griddle pan at a slightly higher temperature and although I didn't mind the flavour the fumes from cooking actually made my partner and I cough. I won't use it again.
I?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. Have no idea why you would want to ruin your steak with this mix of salt and sugar mostly. I tried it a bit and still would prefer just a pinch of pepper as a much healthier replacement. Wouldn't buy it again!
