I like the jeans since I already own a pair and was replacing them with this new order. However, I must honestly tell you that from the internet picture and name of the color, I thought that this pair would a darker shade than the regular bluejean color.Very truly yours,Stephen Guarneri

Best fitting jeans I've found---right up there with classic 501's. Should be about $60 but are MUCH less! Sturdy for working with great protection from brush and most thorns. No shrinkage allowance needed when trial fit. Doesn't cling like the "flex" chick pants. Not old-man baggy like relaxed fit that my dad wears. Rear pockets could be a bit higher up but that's all I'd change.Big negative is Carhart's production and inventory sucks a wild root, though that's not really a design issue, that does mean I need to find a new brand.

I have been a loyal buyer of Carhartt jeans and shirts for years but might have to look else where now due to poor quality. I only wear the B18 style Carhartt jeans and have for years but now have started to notice a trend the past 3 years. I expect for jeans to last a little longer than 6 - 12 months before they tear but all of my Carhartt jeans are tearing at the back pockets at the upper outside corners. My old Carhartt jeans lasted years before I would see something like this but actually I do not ever remember my older Carhartt jeans even tearing or pulling apart at the back pockets just wearing out at knees due to hard use. I have continued to purchase Carhartt jeans hoping for better quality only to have them do the same thing. Carhartt please address this issue. I'm willing to pay a few extra dollars for these B18s so please correct this issue as I see a lot of feed back on here for the same thing. I'm 5'9", 198 currently comfortable in the 38-30s but also have 36-30s with same issue.

Very disappointed. I will be returning these pants. I bought these thinking they would replace the Carhartt jeans I have been using for years and can unfortunately no longer buy because Carhartt decided to stop make them. This new version - per the Carhartt customer service person - is but a poor quality version of the old ones. They are not designed for every day work wear. And the price doubled. Not good.
Slimmer than other slim fit jeans that Carhartt makes and slimmer than Levi 514. Not as durable, comfortable or as good fitting as the amazing BD4945-M. Maybe these would be good for less demanding activities. The inseam is consistently long as well.
Best Jeans ever. I think you are making a big mistake discontinuing these Jeans. I think you should reconsider your decision. The new jeans are very light and will never hold up like the 15 oz. heavyweight's.Thank you,Barry
I have been a customer for at least 4 decades but over the past few years have seen the quality of products fall short of providing the value once provided. For years I purchased your work attire and wore your products casually as well. Several years ago I purchased a pair of work boots that failed in less than a year. The soles literally split in half and after contacting customer service there was no response which was very disappointing. Currently the quality/weight of the jeans is no longer what it was in the past and the selection of sizes have been reduced as well. The styles and materials of your work shirts have changed, i.e. you no longer produce the heavy-duty work shirts made from the duck material. The styles and materials of your work shirts have changed, i.e. you no longer produce the heavy-duty work shirts made from the duck material. That may not be the correct name of the material but the quality/weight of the materials used are not what they used to be. As I stated at the start, I have been a customer for decades and have purchased everything from bibs/coveralls, coats, shirts, jeans, work boots to belts and am saddened to say I will no longer recommend your brand as you have opted for profit over quality and selection.
Love how the jeans fit in the posterior and thighs which is hard to find. The jeans also hit at the natural waist rather than below. However I ordered the length that always fits perfectly and these were a little longer. I am 6' 1" and lean.
Very disappointed. It needs to be made clearer that these jeans are not a straight fit. When I read straight fit and seen the picture I would assume that these are a straight loose fit. The model wears a 32x32 and is bigger than me. I ordered a 34x34 as I have another pair of the same size which I ordered from the Carhartt Amazon store. This pair was way smaller. I could barely even fit the jeans over my legs. The worst part is Amazon offers free shipping to Canada whereas Carhartt charges 30 USD (40 CAD) which I am not being refunded for my return. The jeans themselves were 39.99 which is almost the same price as the shipping. Very disappointed.
I used to love Carhartt and had been a customer for years, but no longer. Those that give this a high rating evidently were not customers of the past. Carhartt has chose cheap over quality and it shows. Ever since they moved manufacturing from Mexico to Nicaragua the quality and consistency is totally gone. Evidently they are on a different measuring system over there because no one size is the same and, material is way thinner now. They start tearing at the back pockets within a month with normal wear as well as crotch area. I still have Carhartt’s made in Mexico that are well over 5 years old and still holding up. As much as I despise being manufactured in another country, the ones made in Mexico were made the way they were supposed to be made. I have worn the B18’s for years but that is coming to an end when they wear out. I’ve moved away from the Carhartt brand and found something better. If they ever move the B18 back to Mexico I’ll consider coming back.
