My granddaughter requested I make a salted caramel birthday cake for her. I made three chocolate sponges and sandwiched them together with buttercream and Carnation Caramel, to which I slowly added salt, tasting frequent to get the correct amount. The outside and top was skimmed in buttercream , to which I added a small amount of the salted caramel. I poured the rest on top and the viscosity was perfect for a drip cake, allowing the caramel to slide down the side in long and short drips. Absolutely lovely

I buy at least 2 tins a week. I use the low fat version. I put it on my porridge every morning to sweeten it and get a wonderful creaminess. I also use a couple of teaspoons to my evening hot milk again to sweeten and give it a creaminess I don’t get just using sugar or sweetener. For me Carnation is the only condensed milk to use. Don’t know what I would do without it. Always have a couple of tins in the cupboard if I want to use it for cooking.

Amazingly great for ice cream!

Me and my dad used carnation’s condensed milk and we must say it’s fantastic. I’ve never done cooking before but having just recently started to get involved with it, me and my dad bought some carnation condensed milk with the idea of using it to make some ice cream with our new sage ice cream maker. The results were spectacular. The ice cream came out with a unique taste that was better than anything we had ever had before! It was rich and creamy just the way it should be. Ever since we tried it in our ice cream machine, we’ve been buying carnation condensed milk ever since. The product is just great for making ice cream, It even tastes nice when having it on its own. Carnation Condensed Milk

Used this for many years (Our Mum used to let all five of us as children have a spoonful each and I have loved it ever since) I am now almost 76 years of age. I use it for Banoffee Pie, Millionaires Shortbread, Coconut Macroons regularly. I also love it in coffee. We are a family of cooks and we all share recipes with family and friends. My daughter owns a tea shop and one grandson works abroad as a chef and another grandson of 12 years of age is a great cook. I also love the chocolate drizzle. Carnation. Perfect every time.

I live in Spain and my previous Carnation Condensed Milk is often difficult to obtain. I travel 70 km just to buy it but it’s worth the journey. From lemon cheesecake to millionaires shortbread. No churn ice cream to fudge. No Carnation......no perfect results. I’ve been using it for years and you’ve never failed me once! I generally use Condensed and make my own caramel the old fashioned way as the caramel is even more difficult to obtain but never had a recipe failure with either and finished items always freeze well! Carnation you are the king of so many products. May you “reign” for many many more years! Thank you for perfect results !

Condensed Milk

An essential for my store cupboard, it is so versatile. I use in my chocolate brownies for that extra moistness, make lovely creamy caramel with it, cheesecakes to die for and always add it to a normal cake mixture for that extra kick to my cakes. Always leave enough in the bottom of the tin to make sure I have a few tea spoonfuls too as it just tastes so creamy and good. Love it and my sweet baking is never the same without it. Also makes pretty good light sweet bread too. Love it

Luxury ingredient personified

I’ve used Carnation condensed milk for years. Perfect for fudge and the drizzles are sensational on/and swirled in my cheesecakes. Fudge is perfect with this product and so simple to make. Delicious. I have made ice cream, millionaire’s shortbread, banoffe pie, cheesecake, fudge, arroz con leche (cold rice pudding) plus many more things for more years than I care to recall (or admit) and have never once had a failure in (ok I admit it) over 55 years of baking. It was always in our “pantry “ as a child and is always in mine even though I have to travel 70km to purchase it, hence there is always more than one tin purchased at a time. Timeless Joy

The first time I can remember seeing Nestle Condensed Milk was my Mum making fudge. Over the years it has been a staple in the food cupboard. My Mum’s brother was feed this filuted in his bottle as a baby, West Indian friends added it to their tea. I have tried many of the recipes on tims and now on the website. I’ve made fudge and peppermint creams. It is an amazing product. Get a tim and make caramel sauce. Look at the website and find a dessert recipe that inspires you. it’s Magic !!!

This seemingly simple ingredient, condensed milk. Really is Magic in a tin ….. it’s so versatile.. with just a few additions it can be a melting Scottish tablet ( just made enough for 160 guest for wedding favours) everyone loved it ! . To amazing but so much easier than old school lemon tart … works a treat every time so much easier and nicer . Key lime pie !!! Is sublime . I always keep a few tins I my cupboards plus the caramel is divine and with home made pastry ir eve. Shop bought you can make the most amazing caramel cake /slices or mini caramel cups for the perfect afternoon tea , everyone thinks you have worked sooo hard .., (when it’s carnation) and it’s been so easy .
