I'm really pleased with this, although I got it at 20% off the current price. It's extremely compact, lightweight, and portable, especially with batteries. Get the impulse? Just slap it onto your lap and play. Should fit in 61-key keyboard gig bags and even some skateboard bags. The sounds are quite good, especially if you enable the "Surround" button. Nothing is triple-strike sampled, but the basic Stage Piano sounds convincingly piano-like, and you can both layer and split the keyboard. Other keyboard-instrument and mallet patches are quite usable, plus there are some real gems: brass-section quick "fall" patches, Arabic strings, and synths with portamento. The amp/speakers get only moderately loud, but sound superb for this keyboard's size and weight. The only serious omission is a mod/vibrato wheel, for which you can't reprogram the pitch-bend wheel. Still, there's an expression trick: You can dial between adjacent (e.g.) organ patches on held notes, to sort-of simulate a Leslie rocking between slow/fast. Compared to lower-cost 61-key Casiotones, this S410 gives you a different (better) sound engine and a pitch-bend wheel. It doesn't have the fun monkey-grip handle, but there's still an indentation in the same location, which you can use to pick up the keyboard (even though the manual tells you not to). Overall, a fun and portable practice, arranging, and jamming instrument at a nice price.

this is a great sounding keyboard with many useful sounds. It is light and easy to transport. It also has built in speakers. If I could make one change, it would be to add a 1/4 standard output. The only out put is a mini headphone jack. Though I acquired an adapter cable, I wish it would be able to take a standard cable instead.

It's fine. Just fine. Sure, there are a ton of sounds, but they're poorly organized and, honestly, only about a dozen of them are actually good. I'm going to have to run it through Mainstage when I play live, making it little more than an expensive MIDI keyboard. Oh, and I've had it a month now and the power button is already starting to stick. If you're thinking about one of these Casitones, save yourself $50 and just get the CT-S1. Better looking and easier to use.

Sounds are so reallistic like some quite more expensive digital pianos. Speakers have great sound with good, rich bass response. It's nice to be able to play with it on six AA batteries. It's also really really portable. It's a good go-anywhere instrument. It can fit anywhere no problem. The accompaniment features are also good. The aux audio input is really usefull to practice to other songs. It's also a great value for the money. I've had other more expensive digital pianos with 88 weighted keys and this Casio CT-S410 is just what I needed due to it's portability and quality of sound.
I am about to buy this product for the second time for entry level keyboard this an excellent product. Rich sounds excellent and easy to use from the pianos to the basses to the pads ethnic sounds and every thing in between you will not be disappointed. Creative? This one is perfect.
Needed a newer & smaller Keyboard with similar features as the YPG-235 and WK-200 (that we own). 61 piano type touch sense-keys, 600 tones, 5-track recorder. Want a mid-sized Learner / Almost Pro-Feel Keyboard to learn on? The CT-S410 is it. However, if you're snobbish keep looking.
I bought this keyboard for something small and easy to carry around. It fills that need very well. I do find the keys to be springy feeling. And it will take some time to work my way through all the functions. But for my purposes I think it will work out well.
This is a great sounding keyboard. The AIX sounds are a huge improvement over the previous versions. I love the portability. Easy to use but you have to punch buttons to get to menu items like transpose, octave settings, and others but it's featured packed (it has a pitch bend wheel that other keyboards in its price range don't have). The manual is online instead of being in the box which is ok. I just downloaded it to my tablet. I wished it had the standard output to use on an amp instead of a mini but it's no big deal; I just use a cable that has the mini and standard plug. I use this for in home practice with my praise team and whenever I want to do some quiet playing but will not hesitate to use it on a live event. Great job Casio!
I've had several keyboards, including the somewhat similar CT-S1. This one outpaces all of them with strong/varied voices, excellent versatility, ease of use, convenient portability, affordability. I enjoy the ability to shift the pitch to my go-to Verdi tuning (A=432 Hz), the large number of registration banks to save configurations, 3 levels of touch sensitivity, sustain, connectivity options. No, it's not a "professional level" keyboard, but it is an extraordinary workhorse for learning, practicing, and all around fun.
I use this key board in front of my desk top too learn new material. The piano - organs - strings are great.. The key board is light weight and easy to use for my needs.. Casiotone CT-S 410 also the sound are so good I can grab it for small performances. The sound are just the good..
