I’ve run this product in my vw since new and now 15 years old. It’s recommended by vw, so with millions spent in research there’s not much else to say. I’m sure this product applies to all vw group vehicles too, ie Audi and plenty of luxury brands too. What’s not to like? Lol

My VW Tiguan need VW 504 oil which is what this products is accredited to. Finally someone stocks 504 spec from Castrol. Despite the price it is still cheaper thank VW dealer servicing my car. Overall my car feel more responsive after the oil change.

Recommended product. I phoned Castrol's knowledgeable staff via their lubricant hotline which is manned here in Australia. This is apparently the same oil which VW dealerships buy (except in larger quantities). In commercial quantities its sold as Castrol Longlife III.I've already run one batch of this oil for the full 15,000km interval without issues. I did notice the engine was noisier towards the end of the interval and fluid breakdown only started being evident right towards the end of this period. I will probably change the oil in the middle of the service interval next time, but only out of mechanical sympathy, not any issues with the product.

Product is great, but ordered 2 with confirmation to pickup Repco Preston, but only 1 in the shop. Sounds like they on sold my one of the shelf with the sale docket listing x2. Waste of time, wont shop repco again.
A five litre container does the job. No need to buy an 'additional' 1 lt to suit vehicle sump quantity! . Vehicle did 22000km between 12 mth services without any adding of oil and sump remained full. Product must be good.
Super Cheap is the only place I buy all my car oil and air filters and oil for my backhoe and tractor. The staff of the store go beyond normal expected customer service. If they do have parts that I need at their store and another has it, they will have it at my store the following day most of the time.
Appears to give better fuel economy initially after service; less internal friction. Still clings to the tub after completing the service interval.
I use this oil in my petrol turbo Skoda yeti - changing the oil/filter each 8000-10,000kms (or sooner depending on the type of driving it’s been subject to or the season, or if the oil becomes discoloured when checked). It’s a good oil, doesn’t need a top up between changes like some other brands, and it’s keeping the little 1.8 going well (it’s at 170,000+kms, with a full recondition & rebuild, new timing components & new turbo at 130,000kms due to a couple of seals failing).I like this oil as it works really well when the engine is at operating temperature - it has a good feel to it when revving the engine through the gears (DSG manual mode).
i brought this product last week for an oil change next year. this product is getting more expensive every year and i didn't want to pay over a hundred bucks for it next year. lucky supercheap auto discounted it and i got an email notifying me about the discount. you have to get the oil with all the right codes on it now days. if supercheap didn't have a computer to tell you which is the right oil, on their, website, you would be stuffed.
