I’ve been bound from this company for years. The price point on this has gone up significantly and I’m really not sure why I purchased a bag of this for $75 and two days later it was up to $105. I’ve seen it as high as $300 for a 22 pound bag that’s what we’re talking about here. I understand that everyone is onto the mineral train, and everybody understands that they need more minerals than their body. However, this product should not be priced at this point. It’s outrageous that Sea salt has gotten this price. There are other alternatives, so I might have to visit those Avenues soon.

First of all, this Celtic Sea Salt, Light Grey Celtic, Vital Mineral Blend is really hard to get ... most of the time it is out of stock. Finally got hold of it :). This great quality sea salt is rough textured and quite moist. I bought a glass container with hole lids for sprinkling. The moist sea salt does get stuck to the lids from time to time. Just use a toothpick to poke the holes to free up the salt.It has an unique pleasant taste, it is not only salt-ish, it is also sweet-ish. Thus making the celtic sea salt tastes more "dimensional". It has a fresh "sea-like" smell. I bought my 1st pack imported from amazon a couple of years back from US when it was not available in SA. I was glad to see when it was available in SA eventually but to my dissappointment it came in the same packaging but did not look the same, did not taste the same and definitely dont feel the same. 1st pack from amazon was clinging to the side of the pack it was moist as it contains magnesiums it is water molecule hungry and they state this on the packet or on the website somewhere. Also when i transfered it into the container same story but this one from here not the same effect. I am switching back to import authentic to compare AGAIN. Everything is counterfeit these days joh!

I heard about this product from a podcast with Gary Brecka, and I ordered it. The salt is very salty, so be aware to add less then you usually would. I did add it to my morning breakfast, and the taste is delicious. I did feel the aftertaste because it seems this salt has bunch of other minerals as well. I would say be reserved in the usage, and perhaps use it in you morning water intake. Not for cooking, because we still need iodine in the normal kitchen salt to support our thyroid. The price was excellent, the package is big enough, that it will last me for a half of year. I even gave some to my friend.
