I have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT that I bought last August and it was pristine when I got it and I want to keep it that way. I have tried other wash/wax solutions but I was never really impressed by the results. I had been buying the Hybrid Solutions leather cleaner and conditioner for the interior and have been truly amazed by how well it worked so I thought I would dig deeper into the this product line. The results were instant. As I was rinsing my car after washing, the water beaded immediately and the depth of shine was evident. It goes on easy, it rinses well and as an aside, it smells great too. I couldn't be happier.

I bought 3 bottles of this Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Wash and Wax from Amazon and the 3 bottles that I received all does not have any seals on them. The wash solution is very watery. The color of the wash solution does not match the picture at all (it's a very diluted whitish yellowish color, while the pictures and videos that I see online show a yellowish green color). The product I received also smelled horrible (very chemical like), while many other reviews mentioned that it smell great and like a mango tropical fruit smell, but the ones I received did not smell like that at all. I dipped my finger in the wash solution slightly to test how it feels and it doesn't feel very slick even straight from the bottle. It smelled horrible on my finger afterward ... I'm not sure if I received counterfeit items since there were no seals on the bottles or Turtle Wax just completely changed their formula (for the worst too), but seems suspicious to me as everything does not seem to match most of the other reviews and videos that I saw online. I've returned all 3 bottles as I am not risking potentially damaging the paint on my couple of cars by using this car wash. Such a shame as I was excited to try this car wash too based on all the good reviews that I read and videos that I saw online.

Initially, when agitating the soap with the hose, I was unimpressed with the lack of frothiness that usually comes with soap at the top like a fresh schooner.And then when applying I was also very sceptical as there was practically no suds. And then when it came to rinsing the first section, I was pretty blown away. The water bounced straight off and massed into thousands of attractive droplets. So visibly, it very well worked. After drying the car, the paint was visibly nice and shiny.I do however find the instructions a little odd, It says to use 80ml with roughly 4 litres of water. I would ignore the amount and found that 10 litres with 6 capfuls of the soap for a mid sized sedan. 4 litres of water is if you have small car like an i30 or something.
Ive been pretty skepticle about all the millions of new fangled ceramic whatsits between waxes, sprays, washes, coatings, polishes, etc. But holy cow. I've never had a car, look so shiney, and bead water so well.It's not the soapy-est of soaps, and it doesn't seem strong enough to handle real bad bug guts or tar/goo type stuff. But the shine is pretty incredible and the water beading is spectacular.If you've ever used Rain-x, its like the whole car has been rain-x'd. While it's definately not the cheapest soap in the world, I'd definately say its 100% worth it. Ignore the recommended amounts and just dump enough in the bucket for it to suds on the car well enough. I was kinda surprised how much i seemed to need, cause its less like a viscous soap and more like a ... Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Wash & Repel is not good in my opinion. Leaves water spots. I followed instructions. Rinsed well. Kept wet before drying. Used half strength. Just can't stop the spots.Applied over Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Polish & Wax which is a great (5 star) product in my opinion.Going back to the Turtle Car Wash and Wax which is another 5 star product.Got two stars becuase it does remove dirt well, although I suspect this has a lot to do with the excellent paint finish and the Ceramic Polish and Wax rather than the Ceramic Wash.
I use this to keep my car looking fresh between hand waxing deep cleans. Does an amazing job removing dirt, grime, and tree pollen (the bane of my existence in the springtime) and brings back that just waxed shine. Right after you’re done drying the car you’ll look and think “Maybe I need to hand wax again” but give it 45~60 minutes and BAM! it look freshly waxed again. I use Turtle Wax’s Ceramic Hybrid black wax as my base. Also, the water beading that this wash provides is fantastic, even on surfaces that you don’t wax (windows, wiper arms, plastic trim etc....). The windows in particular bead up so nice that I no longer use specialty rain treatments on the glass. Thanks for such a great time saving product.
I'm a longtime user of Turtle Wax products. I decided to try something new. The car was clay barrred and washed in a strong solution of Turtle Wax Max Power soap to remove and wax. I followed the directions, measured the product into the water. I use the two bucket method with a grit guard in the soap bucket. It was a 65 degree day, in the shade. I did as the instructions said, washing one panel at a time. I did half the roof at a time on my Civic, one door at a time. I rinsed thoroughly, keeping the car wet as I worked. The water sheeted noticeably on the washed sections. I used a water blade to dry the car, it was very slick and no chattering of the water blade. I bought this last week from Advanced Auto Parts, and used it 3 days ago. (07/28/2022) I added the right amount to the bucket and proceeded to wash my car. I started seeing the paint color of my in the bucket! So I rinsed it off and found that not only was it streaking my car badly, but it removed the clear coating in multiple spots! This have never happened to me before using a wash and wax. At this point I keep spraying my car down to remove anymore of the solution. The streaks never left. I had to pull over to hand wash my windows because it was streaked so bad I couldn’t see out the windshields. It’s rained a few times since and the streaks are still visible. (This looks like water) . There was no scent and color did not match their product advertisement. During wash we found no lubrication, no real cleaning power, and no suds. While ceramic based washes act differently that most traditional soaps, this one just failed altogether. I saw no gloss benefits after use nor any beading/sheeting benefits that were enhanced based upon the properties suggested. I did reach out thru email and got no support. They did later respond quickly thru Facebook contact and offered that they felt product color had changed, and ceramic properties overtake ...
