As a person with combination skin, blemishes and spots are something you have to deal with on a weekly basis. I normally use the cerave foam cleanser for normal/combination skin , which works wonders. Upon trying the new blemish control cleanser, the texture and scent was similar to the other range and very natural, the product foams up well, and you only need a tad for the full face and neck. At first it felt good and removed all excess sebum, and left a lovely clean feeling. However soon after I noticed my face feeling tingly and very irritated, then began to become red, the following morning and days after I noticed my skin was peeling, dry and very sensitive to any of my normal products, so had to discontinue use. Have use CeraVe products before but never a cleanser. So I was looking forward to user the Blemish Control Cleanser as I expected it to be good quality and importantly look after my skin. I am glad to say after using it daily its ticked all the boxes for me. First of all its easy to use, the cleanser comes out of the bottle nicely, it lathers nicely and feels nice on your skin. I really felt it was doing my skin good. After using some cleansers my skin becomes dry, but this was not the case with this product, my skin was soft and looked good. After a few days of use my skin was looking better and with less blemishes. When blemishes did flare up, the cleanser helped counter them. Definitely a product I would be looking to buy again and use on a regular basis.

This cleanser is great for blemish prone skin. It is 2% salycylic acid which can be hard to find in cleansers. It cleans the skin very well, removing all excess oil and makeup. It fights against acne and really works to prevent new spots. It doesn't remove blackheads really but I have never found a cleanser that does. It doesn't overdry skin, but be sure to moisturise with a good moisturiser after as skin needs soothing after using salycylic acid. If my skin is feeling sensitive, I oil cleanse before I use it for a bit of protection which works great. Great value too for such a trusted brand!

I've been using this morning and night daily, as well as alongside the Blemish Control Gel in an evening and they are fantastic. The cleanser applies well and leaves a nice lather to your skin when applied. It rinses easily and leaves your skin feeling smooth and refreshed. Having used both products together they work in harmony to reduce your blackheads. I've noticed my skin has massively improved since I started using them. Not only have my blackheads reduced and my dry skin improved, my pores are cleaner and my face looks fresher and healthy. The products combined are fantastic, a real dream team and my skin feels amazing. I would highly recommend it.
I'm 30 years old with adult acne, the deep painful kind that makes you hate everything when it flares up. I've tried antibiotics with worked, but the side-effects were not tolerable and the acne would return slowly after a couple of months after finishing the course. Since I started using this daily when I shower, for the face and neck. Doesn't feel like it does much at first, but after a couple of weeks I noticed the difference. The acne became less and less. It only started to return when I began slacking with my routine. I bought it in May and it's only now starting to finish mid-september, with two people using it daily. (one pump is enough for me).
