CeraVe Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF30 52ml

I recently have started my journey into the world of skincare. I've been having a wonderful time trying out all kinds of cleansers, moisturizers, masks, etc. Today I tried out a sample of the CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion With Sunscreen that I had received complements of their website. This product was a heavier face cream, and you can definitely smell the sunscreen in it. The scent did not bother my sensitive skin though. I have combination/oily skin and this moisturizer made my skin kind of shiny, and a little bit oily. It absorbed quickly and evenly into my skin and wasn't sticky or tacky feeling in any way. It left my skin feeling very soft and smooth, and very very hydrated. I'm kind of left feeling torn on this product because while it did do a great job at hydrating my skin and making it soft, it also almost left it with a layer of oil on top of it. What it is, is a micro-fine zinc oxide sunscreen for UVA/UVB protection. This moisturizer with SPF is a hydrating facial lotion that spreads easily, is absorbed quickly, and leaves a non-greasy finish. All-day hydration with broad spectrum sun protection. 3 essential ceramides to help restore skin's natural barrier. Developed with dermatologists, this hydrating face lotion- featuring 3 essential ceramides moisturizes throughout the day and provides broad spectrum protection with SPF 30. For $9 on Amazon I don't really think that I would purchase this product. I'm not really sure if I would recommend this product for oily skin, but for dry or normal skin, I definitely would.

Amazing

I absolutely loved this cerave cream I suffer from dry skin first of all so it helped keep my skin looking and feeling hydrated all day ! Also I love that it has spf in it as I am forever forgetting to put on my spf so it's great that I can just use 1 cream for everything in the morning , it's so quick and easy . Also it has all the good in it stuff to keep my skin looking good like hylaronic acid and niacinamide ! Its a one stop cream that has everything your skin needs ! My skin feels much more hydrated and i feel like those fine lines are less noticable too , my skin looks and feels plumper too since I've been using this product! ..I absolutely love it ! Better as a sunscreen than a regular moisturizer

I bought this moisturizer several weeks ago after having used the PM one for a few weeks and overall loving the product. This new one threw me through something of a loop though. When I applied it, I noticed that it had a slightly thicker consistency then the PM version. Obviously, the daytime formulation is going to be slightly different. Understandable. However, I did notice that not only was it thicker, but made my skin feel sticky, and didn't seem to absorb in. I believe this may have been because of the sunscreen factor. I considered returning it but decided to stick with it for a while and give it a little more time. Excellent for winter months

This is Cerave's face moisturiser for AM. It comes in a 52ml tube. It has SPF15 broad spectrum protection from a mix of Homosalate, Meradimate, Octinoxate, Octocrylene and Zinc Oxide - i.e. both organic and inorganic sunscreen filters. Like other cerave moisturisers, it has 3 ceramides and hyaluronic acid and is fragrance-free and non-comedogenic. Both the AM and PM face moisturisers have the addition of niacinamide. It comes in a pump, which is probably an indication of how much to apply to achieve labelled sun protection.This face lotion is very pleasant to use, it's light but hydrating, absorbs quickly and does not interfere with make-up. So I've been happily using this in the past month and will continue using it throughout the winter months.Whilst this is a nice all-in-one product for the colder months with good ingredients and is very pleasant to use, if you already have niacinamide in your other skincare products, it may be better value to just use the normal Cerave moisturising lotion, which is about $15 for 236ml and layer a nice face sunscreen on top.

Hands down the Best!

This is hands down the best moisturiser yet! Its super lightweight yet hydrating, you can't go wrong with this one. It made my skin feel fresh, plumper and smoother and gave me that baby-skin effect we all love! I use this the night after a Sipmle cleanser and the morning prefer to use the CeraVe moisturising lotion after CeraVe daily moisturising lotion topped up with Bondi Sands sunscreen. I have combination skin and this is working wonders. The cute little pump is super cute and adorable and plus it dispenses the puurrr-fect amount for both my face and neck! I love that it has Niacinamide for acne-control-though I am not acne-prone) and for oil control it's something I will buy again!A little downgrade though is the fact it's a bit pricey for a small bottle yet ... MoreThis is hands down the best moisturiser yet! Horrible reaction to this moisturizer!!

If I could give this zero stars I would! I bought this AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion because I ran out of my normal facial lotion during a business trip and had heard good things about CeraVe. I was so mistaken. Upon first application on my face the following day, it stung a little around my eyes but I just thought it was from lack of sleep due to traveling. I used it again the following day and the same stinging happened but was a bit worse and was just around my eyes so I thought maybe I developed an issue with my L'Oreal eye moisturizer I have been using for a year. So I tried the CeraVe again the third day, this time my whole face stung and I knew it was that moisturizer. The following day I did not use the CeraVe but my eye area still stung very bad, started ... MoreIf I could give this zero stars I would! My eyes also watered a lot and made the skin sting and irritated even more. The 3rd day after not using CeraVe, I woke up with both eyes swollen shut an my eye area and around my mouth felt rough and scabby, itchy and was very red. The fourth day my eyes are still itchy, puffy and swollen, very red and the scabby skin is still scabby and starting to flake a little like I got a chemical burn. I have taken a antihistamine each day since I stopped used the lotion and it has helped some but I am still experiencing the swelling, itchiness and red scabby raw skin. I cannot go to work looking like I went 10 rounds with Mike Tyson! If you use this product, do a test on a small patch of your skin for a couple days first!! I would like my money back on this product but I bought it while traveling and I am now home.

Moisturiser with uvb + uva coverage

As I've gotten older&more aware of my skin, it needs more protection. This CeraVe facial moisturising lotion has a uvb&uva rating spf 30, not too heavy or too low for ageing skin been overlooked from spf! Product also boasts 24hr hydration&is enriched with ceramides including vitamin e (which really helps my skin)&niacinamide which can help visibly minimise&tighten pores, improve my uneven skintone& is known to soften fine lines& wrinkles which is a big ask for me in skincare products. Using this, I liked the pump. It was easy to use, meant less mess than a traditional pot& helped with how much to use. Lotion is very lightweight& absorbs quickly. Peels, white cast, dries matte and uneven, stings

This sunscreen is NOT hydrating. It peels and stings very badly. It also leaves a white cast/film. I use Cerave daily moisturizer lotion, which is gentle, hydrating, fast absorbing, and does not cause breakouts. So, you would think that this sunscreen would pair well with their products. I cannot truly express my disappointment. This sunscreen dries matte. So you literally have to act fast and rub it in, which further irritates the skin. It leaves you skin dry, uneven from the sunscreen peeling, and white. I do not wear makeup and my skincare routine is quite simple (cleanser, toner, moisturizer, sunscreen). Also, I have a very light complexion-person of color. However, I don't think no complexion or skin could tolerate the excessive peeling, stinging, and dry skin. ... MoreThis sunscreen is NOT hydrating. It peels and stings very badly. This stuff really works

Right, I’ll try to give an objective review of this product, as I have been using this product for 3+ months now. Does this product work? Short and long answer is yes. I have noticed LOTS of baby hair (curlier than the rest of my hair, lol) and otherwise hair grow faster. I have been using this twice a week on average, usually after washing my hair. It will take a while before one sees a result, but result visible after one month of use. You need to realize that this doesn’t make hair appear magically, so you have to be patient for these hair to grow. Smell: smells nice, imo, perfume does not linger. Does it make hair oily? It doesn’t make my hair oily, it’s a generally dry serum and once massaged into the scalp, it’s fine. However if the head is already oily, it doesn’t help much. I will buy again and looking forward to see the final results.
