A few years ago my skin suddenly appeared a lot of acne. My dermatologist prescribed me this Cerave PM moisturizer. At first I didn't believe it was very effective for me, but after using it for a short time my skin got better. I kept it and used it until now. I love this moisturizer so much. It's texture is perfect when applied to the skin it feels very light but most importantly keeps my skin well hydrated. I use it every day especially on the summer . Sometimes when I'm lazy to do skin care steps, I just apply this Cerave pm and just go to sleep. And more surprisingly, my skin was not affected much. So I think this Cerave moisturizer is worth a try

I wanted to like this because it has a lot of hype and is priced well, but my sensitive, rosacea-prone skin did not. To apply, I'd pump two pumps into my hands and then rub it on my face and neck. Here are some pros: - There's no pilling, and it's easy to apply and blend in. - It doesn't have much of a scent, which is good for my sensitive skin. - It felt effectively moisturizing and a had a not-too-lightweight, but not-too-thick creamy texture. This product just wasn't the right fit for my skin. It's probably better for someone with more resilient skin. Here are some cons: - It stung my super sensitive, rosacea-prone skin. - It triggered my acne-prone skin and caused me to develop whiteheads.

Had an adverse reaction to this PM lotion

I heard a lot of good things about CeraVe, and for context, I have been using their SA cleanser (as body cleanser), the body moisturizer, and therapeutic hand cream with no issues for a year now. so I decided to try their face products. I have been using this PM lotion since May 2022 and stopped in Dec 2022. I double checked my other products and none of them have been reformulated, and they have been the same products/formulas for the past 2.5 years, so I knew the issue was likely the PM lotion. a week after I stopped using the PM lotion my skin immediately cleared up. I'm sad to say that while I've had an amazing experience with CeraVe's body/hand products, this face PM lotion did not work well for me. Something about it is too potent for my face skin. I will say that it is budget friendly, so for those who are able to use this, it's a cost-effective option.

My favorite night-time moisturizer.

I've used many different night-time moisturizers and do rotate between them, but this is my go-to favorite of all and the one I'd pick if I could only pick one. It's super gentle on sensitive skin. Is free of common irritants and fragrance. I get no irritation or burning on my skin. It's lightweight but provides a lot of moisture without being heavy or greasy. 1-2 pumps are all you need for your whole face. It works well with other producucts in skincare layering as well. I have tried generic versions of this from big box stores, and they are okay (and often hard to find, and not that much cheaper), but the original is the best and nothing is quite the same. It's good for sensitive, dry, normal even oily skin (avoid nose, forehead oily areas if you need to.)

Really good for dehydrated oily skin types

I've had major dehydration problems with my forehead and this lotion has been working great so far. I've only used it for about a week but already my forehead is getting much better in complexion. It is light but still goes a long ways. I use just 1 pump worth and pat my forehead all over. I got it in a 2 ounce bottle. It may seem like a small amount but trust me, you only need a very small amount. I have very oily skin and had been overwashing, hence the dehydration. This lotion soaks in quickly and doesn't feel greasy. It's helped stopped my skin over producing oil a lot.
