CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion 1 L

I'm giving this 4 stars for two reasons: it doesn't work for my skin type, but it works GREAT for the right type. My oily skin hated this personally and I felt the cream on my t zone all day. However! For dry skin, it works amazing. Very popular for those with eczema and for good reason. Helps rebuild and moisturize the skin barrier without being harsh at all. This paired with the HA cleanser for dry skin works great!! Wasn't good for me, but might work amazing for you!

This lotion is perfect for those humid summers when you can barely tolerate having a shirt on your back, let alone lotion. Because it's a water-based lotion, it's lightweight and absorbs quickly and easily into the skin without leaving a greasy residue or thick coating. It's simple and hygienic to apply due to the pump, but the downside to that is all the product that gets left behind at the bottom when you're almost empty. It's so hard and time consuming to scrape out, and I always end up having to just throw it away. Its about three or four days worth of moisturiser that ends up being wasted. I wouldn't recommend it for winter dry skin, for that I'd go with the Cerave Moisturising Cream in the tub as creams are thicker, heavier and that one contains more occlusive ingredients to lock in hydration like Shea Butter. I bought this alongside the Cerave facial cleanser, and thought I could keep my routine sweet and simple. However my skin is very complicated and sensitive, I get hormonal breakouts, stress breakouts, pretty much any excessive blinking and my skin breaks out. This moisturizing lotion was a mediocre product which I didn’t find myself grabbing on most days! This moisturizer did not prevent or help with any skin breakouts, it did however do a good job keeping my skin hydrated and supple. I definitely love the packaging, and price for the amount and quality which is amazing. I would recommend this product for those who have skin that doesn’t require extra maintenance. It’s an average moisturizer!

A great lotion for sensitive skin

My daughter has quite sensitive & eczema prone skin. This product has worked wonders for her. It was recommended by her GP and we have not turned back since. We have bought this for the last 5 years. It absorbs really well into the skin without being too oily. It also provides a really good barrier for her skin and as a result her skin doesn't become itchy or irritated. I also use this and have noticed the skin feels hydrated and smooth. The pump bottle is easy to use too which a bonus. This is a great product and we love it.

Amazing Product

I ordered this Cerave moisturizing lotion online as I wanted a moisturizer that was a bit thicker than the oil-free moisturizer I was using currently. I have combination skin with my forehead and T-zone being very oily and my cheeks getting dryer in the winter time. I was shocked when I first used this product because it is amazing. Unlike my other moisturizer, it sunk into my skin and actually felt like it was moisturizing my skin and getting deep into my skin. My skin drank it up! Didn't leave my skin looking oily or greasy after applying it which my other moisturizer did. After watching a live Q&A of a panel about CeraVe I decided I was going to give it a go, I am never turning back! After years of using a couple of competitors brands this knocked them out of the park.After showering I found the ease of the pump so easy to disperse the lotion into my hands. Good product

There are seemingly endless amounts of hydrating milk options and when you factor in that skin is easily irritated by fragrances, dyes, and other ingredients in skin care products and the environment. This fragrance-free, fast-absorbing CeraVe Lait Hydratant is suitable for my skin type( normal) and my kid’s skin type(dry). Skin instantly absorbs this cream leaving behind a smooth, soft finish without any greasy residue. Some may find it but high priced but It’s often on promo so makes it ok for me.

No frills, brilliant, simple moisturiser.

I applied it straight after turning off the shower and before drying off, as it’s the best way to really lock in maximum moisture. The pump applicator is a dream to use and the texture was super light and sank in right away, leaving no residue and my skin was soft and dewy to the touch right through to my next shower. Very little was needed so this large bottle will last me right through to next winter, maybe longer, great value for money and I plan to use every last drop and repurchase this, possibly other products from this brand as well. I’m surprised at how much I love this as when I do use body moisturiser, every now and then, I’ll usually go for a rich and strongly scented one from Lush or the Body Shop, but that’s what is so great about testing products, you go out of your comfort zone and try things you normally wouldn’t buy and sometimes fall completely in love. Works perfectly for body/hands/feet

I have been using this daily moisturizing lotion on my hands/feet/body for about a year now. I'm really happy to say it works perfectly for hands/feet/body. it's easy to spread, fragrance free (I have asthma/eczema) and lightweight. I was having such bad flares of eczema a while ago and this really helped minimize my eczema flares/dryness, year round. I use it after the shower, and once it sets into the skin it's all good. it's not greasy or thick. I use it on my hands and feet regularly as well and it works wonderfully. very happy with this product! and it's very budget friendly. definitely recommend.
