CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion 8 fl oz

Before I used this product , let me tell you☝🏻..I didn’t realise what my skin was missing! Clearly IT WAS THIS! I have eczema prone skin which generally means I’ve been through all the works with moisturisers 😩 Aveeno, E45 Diprobase and so on! It would be effective on my skin for a short period of time but not really help my makeup application and just generally making my skin feel heavy and overly oily. I have since then bought one for myself and one for my makeup kit as it is a GAME CHANGER for us dry skin babes! I’ve been using it ever since and it has stayed a consistent moisturiser for me. I have searched for lotions that will help my skin because my skin is very sensitive so I need some thing that is not thick and oily and will not break out my skin . I started using this lotion about three years ago and my skin has significantly changed. Are used to be scared of using lotion on my face because I didn’t want to add oil to it because my face I thought it was very oily but instead, I came to figure out that it was actually super dry because I would never put lotion on. I think this is one of the best body lotions you can get for this price honestly. It is pretty lightweight yet very moisturizing, I can use it on the whole body, even on my upper back and shoulders which are a bit oily — this product doesn’t cause any breakouts for me and it prevents excessive oiliness due to nice skin hydration. I noticed that my skin is less sensitive when I use this, probably because of the ceramides. It has never caused any irritation, the product is fragrance-free. It actually has a light smell, but it seems like it’s just a natural scent of the added ingredients, nothing added artificially to it. When i first found this i loved it. And its a great moisturizer i feel moisturized. But i notice that under makeuo theres dry flakes and i can really notice with makeup. I notice thus on my forehead where i usually have a lot of sebum production causing me to have pretty oily skin. I feel as tho im not that oily with this but now my skin can feel a little dry. Maybe this isnt a year round moisturizer and only works for me in the summer? Ive never had this problem until recently when i repurchased. Nothing else in my skincare has changed. I had to add a hydrating serum primer to my routine to compensate for my dry skin. The CeraVe Moisturising Lotion has been great at keeping my skin moisturised during the freezing winter months. The handy pump bottle makes it user friendly and also hygienic. The lotion does not have a scent and has a medium texture. It absorbs pretty much instantly and is not greasy so I can get dressed right away. I love slathering this all over my body after a bath or shower while my skin is still damp. I think it provides longer lasting effects than other body lotions I've tried so this one's a keep in my books. It works great as a hand cream and is also a fantastic foot cream too as it's stopped my heels from becoming so hardened and dry. I've been using this on my children too and it works great for them too as it's very gentle. I bought this on a whim as I ran out of my facial oil. I'm glad I tried it even though I was a bit nervous as the idea of putting most lotions on my face seems disastrous between the scents and heavier oils. It doesn't break me out, isn't heavy, and gets the job done. Plus, it absorbs into the skin quickly. It doesn't feel like it's just sitting on your skin. I love that this doesn't do a whole bunch and it's the reason I purchase it which might sound counter productive but not at all when you use serums and cleansers aimed towards that kind of thing and just want a lotion you can use on the face/body. I break out on my face with products that contain oils or harsher ingredients, but this one moisturizes the skin and that's all I want. Absorbs right away and yet still able to feel it slightly after a few hours-- unless it's applied to my hands which I tend to wash off in the course of a day. I apply this to my face, arms, and neck as well, and use on my lips for chapping throughout the day. Relieves dry feeling at once and doesn't feel oily or thick. I'll use this a few times a day to help relieve dryness from fans and or heaters running in the house. Wonderful after kitchen or house cleaning.
