Cetaphil Daily Scrub, Extra Gentle - 6 fl oz

I know that it's a little late in life for me (I'm 35), but recently I've just really started making an effort to take much better care of my skin. I have oily/combination sensitive skin and have been exploring all kinds of facial cleansers, masks and lotions. Lately I've been using , and again I have to admit that I'm really impressed by Cetaphil. It's a daily cleanser that has a small amount of tiny exfoliating particles in it. It gently exfoliated my face, and left my skin looking glowing. It did not dry out my skin either, which is something I have to look out for because the area around my eyes and eyebrows tends to dry out easily. The texture of my skin was definitely more even after using this face wash. It removes dirt, oil and impurities from the face without over-drying and gently exfoliates to buff away dull skin to reveal a healthy, radiant glow. Nourishes and smooths while improving texture. I wish if I could have given this Cetaphil Extra Gentle Daily Scrub more than five stars. My dermatologist had given me a few samples of this scrub and i instantly fell in love with it. I love how the micro fine particles feel when i use it to exfoliate my face. It leave my face feeling soft, smooth and bright looking. This gentle scrub definitely removes dirt, oil and dead skin from my face also it has skin conditioners and vitamin that help leave my face soft and smooth. I definitely recommend this Cetaphil Extra Gentle Daily Scrub.

Average Cleanser

This is an average exfoliating cleanser from CETAPHIL. It is gentle enough to use everyday but I would advise against using it in the morning unless you are exceptionally Oily or have Combination skin. It can lead toward the drying side if you're not careful. The masking fragrance which smells just as strong and pervasive as the fragrance in the Oily skin cleanser is a bit of a problem would be great if CETAPHIL could release a fragrance-free version of this product. This exfoliating cleanser is thorough enough to remove water-resistant sunscreen and a moderate to heavy amount of makeup. The decent size should last you a good while. The packaging is o.k... nothing special, just your average pharmacy clinical packaging. Great for men or women, easy to use and travel ... MoreThis is an average exfoliating cleanser from CETAPHIL. The exfoliating particles are a bit too small to do any real exfoliating, but it is an exfoliating cleanser and not strictly an EXFOLIANT as such. I only have one beef with this product and that has to do with the INCI or ingredient listing. It does not match the U.S Version, two beneficial ingredients Panthenol (Vitamin B5) and Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) are both on the lower end of the INCI. What does that mean? Well, it means you're not getting these ingredients in a high amount as is the U.S. version. Having said that it doesn't really matter in a cleanser since beneficial ingredients like this need to stick around to do their thing. You're not going to get that in a rinse-off product like a cleanser. This is the reality of skincare.

I loved this product! I use Cerave lotion on my face always and organic goats milk soap to cleanse with then Micellar water. I have been looking at other products. Decided to try this. It makes my face look smoother and cleanses better. I’m not to thrilled about alcohol in any product and other chemicals.I use my Micellar water right after I’ve cleansed it. I just ordered another Cetaphil product ( facial moisturizer) to see if I like it better than my Cerave face lotion. It’s on its way from Amazon, do not need to order $35 to get free shipping. Amazon was a bit cheaper and free shipping.If you are looking for something that deep cleanses without over drying give this cleanser a try. Gentle but effective

Used to use the regular face wash, but decided to try the gentle scrub and at first thought it was not exfoliating enough but after a week my skin was much more soft and smooth. When I went back to the regular face wash after about a week I noticed my skin becoming dull and needing exfoliation. Will continue to buy the gentle exfoliating wash because I can use it daily and it ends up being very exfoliating when using daily vs using a harsher exfoliate once per week.This is more of a daily use product than your strong exfoliates but you will not need them if using this daily. Good Facial Scrub

I’m already a fan of Cetaphil so I bought this facial wash to clear up a breakout. While this is listed as a facial scrub, I found that I will get a scrub bead every now and again. However, the soap does a great job. It doesn’t drying me out nor is my skin oily hours after I wash it. I really like that my face feels clean. The better benefit is it has stopped any further breakout.I have recommended this to a few people and found they have been as satisfied as I am. Most facial scrubs for breakouts dry up the skin, so this was a welcome change.

Irritated skin

I bought this face wash for my son who has acne prone skin. He said it burned his face. I decided to try it myself and it burned my face also. I searched up the ingredients and they seemed safe enough until I got to cocamidopropyl butane. It's the second ingredient and known to cause skin irritation. I'm surprised that this product is marketed as being hypoallergenic. Also, my skin was incredibly dry after using this. It's going in the trash.

Reveals Younger Skin

From my teens, I've known that my face has always benefited from a good scrub. Over the years, with the introduction into the home skincare market of such products as sugar, salt, and other scrubs, I've come a long way from the "Buff Puff". So I'm happy to report that, after just two weeks of using Cetaphil Extra Gentle Daily Scrub, my 78-year-old face looks smoother and more radiant than it has in a long time! My pores are smaller and small bumps are diminishing. That's not just my opinion. New friends were surprised to learn my age at a recent birthday party and my much younger sister-in-law, who just laid out bunches for a professional facelift and dermabrasion, is considering preserving her investment with Cetaphil Extra Gentle Daily Scrub! It feels great!

Serves its purpose, but really awful floral smell

I don’t mind the product, it does what it states and it’s quite gentle on the skin. However, the smell of this product is awful to me. It smells like old lady floral perfume and it’s really strong. I’m not sensitive to scents at all but this is probably the first product I’ve ever purchased that I’ve been repulsed by the smell of. I also find it odd that Cetaphil would add such a strong identifiable scent to a gentle daily skin product given their branding and that they are targeted towards gentle/sensitive skin types which typically added scents aren’t good for. If you like the smell of 90 year old floral perfume, purchase away, but if you need something more subtle and gentler on the skin and the olfactory system, I’d pass.
