This trial required me to use this serum in conjunction with the Cetaphil Optimal Hydration Refreshing Eye Serum, Healthy Glow Daily Cream, Replenishing Body Lotion & Body Spray Moisturiser. I stopped using all my other skincare products while conducting this trial, to ensure I could give a comprehensive review on the effectiveness of these products alone. I believe this was the serum helping to clear some congestion, as by week two, my skin felt so much smoother & the breakouts stopped. It states that it can be used alone or layered with the Optimal Hydration Healthy Glow Daily Cream. I found it just wasn't enough on its own, so I started to use the daily cream as a night cream too & found I was waking up to glowing, supple skin every morning. Overall, this serum has helped to make my skin feel & look more hydrated & plumper, with a more youthful glow. I would recommend this product to anyone needing more hydration, especially those with sensitive skin.

The bottle is a pump pack which squeezes out enough serum in one or two squirts to cover your face and neck area. There is a lid that clicks on tight to prevent spillage so this serum would be perfect for travelling and at 30ml - it's also the perfect size for that too. PRODUCT:The serum itself is white and more cream-like than some of the slick serums I've used before. It spreads easily and absorbs fast without feeling greasy at all. It really has no scent that I can discern. It has a cooling effect on the skin and you know it's gentle because your skin doesn't get that prickly sensation that some creams will give you - usually a precursor to a reaction and/or rash. PERFORMANCE:Having used this serum for weeks now I can verify that it is very good at hydrating dry, sensitive skin. Right after application, my skin feels lovely and soft so much so that I probably could have got away with not using a moisturizer but the Cetaphil "Healthy Glow Day Cream" just took my skin to another level of hydration. The fact that it was dermatologist tested for sensitive skin gave me peace of mind and I did find it gentle and non-irritating. The moisturising effect does last a long time too. All in all, I found the Cetaphil serum to be excellent value and quality - great for hydrating sensitive skin without the worry of skin irritation. I highly recommend it!

In all, antioxidant vitamin E makes the outer layer of skin appear smoother and healthier. This product defends against five signs of skin sensitivity issues including dryness, irritation, roughness, tightness, and a weakened skin barrier. I definitely feel that the product meets their promise. It is fragrance free, hypoallergenic and paraben free which is so good for people who have sensitive skin. I felt using this product together with the Cetaphil's Healthy Glow face cream gave my skin that extra protection and well moisturized and hydrated as the weather starts changing and the the cooler days are upon us. The Hydrating serum enhance your skin's hydration, prevents it from drying out and improve its moisture retention. I use one to two pumps and it is enough for my whole face and my neck which reduces product waste. It does feel like a small splash of water on my face and I appreciate that. It keeps my face hydrated throughout the day and I’m very happy I got to trial this amazing product. I love the bottle and packaging; it pumps out well and doesn’t mess. The labelling is easy to read. I am excited to continue using this product as I feel it will continue to improve the condition of my skin as I already can see and feel such an improvement. Hooked

First off I bought this product with my own money, no freebies or incentives. I have suuuper dry skin in the winter and my usual la roche posay moisturizer was falling short. I tried this on a whim and I am hooked! It absorbs right away and leaves your skin dewy looking, not greasy. My skin has been very hydrated. In a few short days it has improved the clarity/texture of my skin and also completely healed a dermatitis/eczema rash that I get every winter under my nose. I wasn’t expecting it to be this good! It is a little pricey for the amount of product you get but I always splurge on skin care and will continue to repurchase this instead of the la roche posay. Please keep it in stock Target!

Luxe-feel serum that fulfils its promise

I really enjoyed using this product and was pleasantly surprised by how effective it is. I have combination skin (dry through the cheeks, oily through the t-zone with blackheads in this area) that is very sensitive (rosacea prone) and I require hydrating products that leave my skin feeling moisturised but comfortable. A oil slick is the worst thing for my rosacea. This serum dispenses as a gel-cream consistency, is speedily absorbed and leaves a soft, velvet finish. It is sublime for laying beneath moisturiser, primer and make up, and does not gather or ball when other products are applied on top.
