Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar 127 G

I've been using this product for a long time, and I like it for those days when my skin feels a little extra oily. My only complaint is that I miss the days when it was an "antibacterial" soap. Those of us with acne really appreciated a little extra help in keeping bacteria at bay on our skin. I understand that the soap was changed at a time that there was a lot of hype in the media about resistance bacteria and such. For that reason, I only use it very occasionally now instead of daily like I used to. It's basically nothing more than "soap" now, although it's pretty good at controlling oil without drying out my skin. I just wish it were still antibacterial.

As I got older, I was starting to have skin problems. I developed dermatitis. My doctor recommended that I switch my body bar soap to this. I got a free sample to try. I will say the initial smell puts me off, very medicine smell, but then as the bar slowly disappears the smell goes away. The initial out of the bag is intense. Today this review is after 8 years of use. If you struggle with skin issues, I recommend this to people. It is a gentle cleaning bar that deep cleans but does not dry out the skin. NOTE: I live in Texas, HEB has the best prices on this product in store. Costco once a year has a sale of these online. Keep an eye out for the Costco price.

I have very dry skin and I thought maybe all the fragrances in my other body care could be drying my skin out even worse so I was on a mission to find a great clean smelling soap that was made for dry skin. I didn’t want to smell like a 🧼 of dial antibacterial. I found the cetaphil soap on Amazon but knew I could get it cheaper at the drugstore so I did and I’ve not used anything else since. I love adore the smell this soap isn’t sticky or residue leaving like most bar soaps. 5/5 for me!

I have extremely sensitive, fragile skin and unfortunately most soaps tend to burn or leave a rash. My dermatologist recommended this years ago and I’ve haven’t changed since. It makes my skin feel cleaned without any soapy residue or oily feeling, just soft and moisturized. I especially like that I can get it at Amazon on their auto delivery and save even more. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to feel clean with sensitive skin!

Great soap but expensive Walmart need to make this

This great soap as I have life long issue with my skin. My doctor recommended this soap and it really helps my skin but unfortunately it's expensive and Walmart.com doesn't have it stocked online most times. So I have to go to nearest store to buy it which I really don't like as I experience a constant unpleasantness from follow customers and some staff. I wish Walmart made it own version for inexpensive prices. I use 93 bars of soap a year which comes to $372 plus tax which expensive for someone like me.

Love it!

Well, I'm now a big fan of this bar soap. The cold, dry winter has driven me to find some dry skin relieving products. I also have eczema and have to pick the right kind of products. I've been using this soap for about a week, and I love it. It's very gentle and causes no problems with my skin. I also LOVE the smell, which is a clean, fresh soap smell. Will continue to buy this for sure.

No drugstore soap compaires

For those complaining just FYI fragrance free does not mean unscented. It just means fragrance wasn’t added, and may still have a scent. With that said I love this soap and actually enjoy the smell it has. It works well with my body chemistry and leaves me both smelling and feeling fresh. Its gentle and hydrating on my sensitive skin while removing even the heaviest funk from hiking/working out. I love this bar for travel also because it’s gentle enough to use on my face in a pinch.

Poor packing

NO PROBLEM WITH THE PRODUCT ITSELF. GOOD FOR THE SKIN, especially if your skin is sensitive. Ordered 4 big bottles of shampoos and conditioners, and 3 boxes of each kind of Cetaphil cleansing bars (the deep & the gentle). Unfortunately, the boxes of the body soaps arrived here damaged, certainly due to the weight of the bottles (since they were placed on top of the little bars). Well, it would have been okay if it was only for me but I bought it for a friend (as a gift), so it was a bit disappointing. This actually didn’t just happened once, but twice or more? I suggest iHerb improves the way they pack their products since it is one of the ways they can show the quality of their good customer service.

Sensitive Allergy Queen Approved Product

My dermatologist advised me to try Cetaphil’s cleansing bar soap as he had many clients who told him they found the liquid products still felt harsh on their skin. Since making the change myself, I have to agree, the bar soap is super gentle for cleansing my face with but also gentle on my hands. My hands flare up often with rashes and hives when lathering up products to use on my face, but I don’t have a problem with using the bar soap. Excellent price, great quality - super happy!
