Cetaphil Gentle Skin 25 Cleansing Cloths

These are so amazing. I have started using these in the pm in combination with the CeraVe Cleanser and these two saved my skin. I have combination/dry skin and have gotten hormonal acne. I lost all my confidence because of my acne BUT now it is back as my skin is nearly clear within a short period of using these. It helps me get makeup and dirt off of my face and gets my skin ready for CeraVe to finish the job. I tried many different wipes BUT I always came back to these and I will only buy these now. They cleared my skin, made my pores look smaller and they always help me feel fresh and clean plus I love how gentle they are. I recommend for sure.

Awful smell/feeling with new formula

I should have read the reviews. I’ve been a loyal customer and used to love the old formula—it didn’t smell and left my face truly clean. The “new & improved” formula now has aloe vera (why??) and B5/B3. It left my face feeling icky and the wipes smell like Clorox/Lysol disinfecting wipes (I wish I was exaggerating). Please listen to the reviews if you have sensitive/acne prone skin. These are no longer the once-cherished face cleansing wipes. I will be returning the two 50ct packs, even if one is open.

Best Fragrance Free Wipes

I love these cleansing wipes! Removing makeup is my least favorite thing to do and at the end of the day when I’m exhausted, I don’t want to be rubbing oily makeup removing wipes all over my face and smearing the makeup around. That’s why I love these wipes! The wipes aren’t super oily and they are fragrance-free, which is my favorite thing about these. The cloth is also very soft. I have sensitive skin and I prefer these wipes over any other I have used. Very happy and would recommend! Side note: I also used these as a face cleanser when I went to the hospital to give birth to my first child. They were very useful to wipe my face off after I have birth to freshen up (and before I was ready for a shower).

Best Wipes Until New Formula

These were my favorite face wipes on the market. They removed makeup and excess oil with ease and were scentless. I bought a pack last week and noticed it said "New and Improved" on it. They are completely different. The wipes are thinner, dryer, have a strong Windex scent to them, and made my face greasy. They used to help my oily skin and now it makes my face more greasy. I use them before I put my makeup on as well and it made my foundation look cakey. I'm so disappointed. I hope they go back to the original formula.

Burns my eyes

I have rosacea and severe allergies to just about anything I can come into contact with in the air I breathe. I’ve been desperately trying to find replacement facial cleansing wipes since the ones I’ve used for 15 years disappeared from the market during lockdown. I tried many different brands, and these Cetaphil wipes were the only ones that didn’t burn my skin or make my face itchy. Unfortunately, by the end of the first week of use my eyes were burning and my vision was effected. At first I didn’t connect the problem with the wipes, but finally I realized that the change in wipes was the only variable in my skin care routine. This is terrible! If only my previously used wipes hadn’t (apparently) gone out of production! In the meantime, suffering!

No adverse effects!!

I have rosacea and terrible combo skin. As I’ve gotten older I have to watch out for my skin reacting terribly to products. I also have type 2 rosacea and at times breaks out badly with acne in certain areas and develops a cystic reaction. I use these at night, to refresh my face before bed. I haven’t been wearing makeup (only mascara) as I have a mask on pretty much all day so whatever! It’s been helping my rosacea. Anyways, I have reactive skin and my face is red on a daily basis. I have battled with this all my life. I decided to buy these wipes to still cleanse my face and then moisturize. No stinging, no reaction and very gentle. Perfect for Oily and Acne-Prone Skin

Omg! I absolutely love these makeup wipes. I can honeslty remove a face full of makeup with just one cloth but use two for safety that all the makeup I can get off with a wipe has been removed. I used to dislike wearing makeup because I have oily and acne-prone skin and would breakout from it even after throughly washing my face (after using a wipe). I can say these make a huge difference and have not had a breakout from makeup since!! LADIES!!! buy these. they are great.

I have used these everyday for the last ten years or so, and just recently ran out of my stash of old formula and had to buy the “new and improved” formula. Keep in mind, I haven’t had any reaction since I’ve used these, and they were the only wipes I could use that wouldn’t cause my sensitive skin to breakout. But the other night when I used the new ones, my face immediately burned, and I got red splotches all over my face. I stopped using them, and haven’t had a problem since. I’ve seen a lot of reviews like mine on here, talking about the new change. Please stop changing formulas when there was nothing wrong with the old! I want my cetaphil back.

However, I want to "weigh-in" on Cetaphil's "New Look" re-do. The New Look is a different shade of blue packaging, but the "new look" of the wipes, themselves is they got a whole lot THINNER! Former wipes were a nice density, and removed my make-up, well. These wipes resemble tissue paper and one wipe doesn't remove all my make-up, anymore. So, I must honestly say, I'm disappointed in Cetaphil reducing the quality of the wipes. I shouldn't be surprised, though. In our current dilemma with product shortages, price hikes, and reduced product quality, Cetaphil must have needed to cut, somewhere. Yep, these remove makeup and leave skin soft!

These wipes are fantastic! It took off all my makeup from brows, lashes, cheeks, lips, and skin. I used the full wipe, both sides and was amazed to see it removed my mascara with soft strokes- no tugging. When I washed my face it didn’t feel dry/tight from the wipes- as I washed my face, my skin felt soft and protected. For some reason, I liked these wipes far more than Ceraphil’s micellar water. Also, these perform much better than Cerave’s wipes which I returned. The smell is meh (none) and while I don’t love a strong scent, a light little something in the smell department would take this wipe next level. I have dry, sensitive, mature skin.
