Cetaphil Restoraderm Skin Restoring Body Wash - 295 ml

I tried this cleanser in combination with Cerave Moisturizing Cream, for about a month. I was using a lot of prescription acne medication on top of that. And yet, the acne kept coming like I was growing it with fertilizer. LOL. CeraVe is famous for causing acne, so I'm more inclined to blame the moisturizer for this situation. However, this cleanser did cause itching. I am sensitive to niacinamide, so that might be the cause of it. When I used a cleanser with salycilic acid in it plus the same Cerave moisturizer, the acne stopped. Meaning this cleanser is not suited for acne-prone skin. (Well, duh! It's for eczema!) I would not use this cleanser again, but I think it could work in combination with a moisturizer that is NON-comedogenic for a person with dry skin?

After reading so many good reviews on Amazon, about the Cetaphil Pro Face and body wash, I was convinced to try it out. I love the idea that this body washer is suitable for the face and body, which is more practical and helps me save money. I confess that I was a bit sceptical, because I always thought that the best way to cleanse my face was by using a special facial cleanser for it.

I have skin that goes in and our of flares pretty easily depending on what city I'm in at the time and what the quality of the water is. what I've noticed is that no matter what soaps I use won't make a difference for trying to get me back to a calmed and noninflammed skin, its all about the lotion. Ill get folliculitis all covering my arms and legs and can't stand to even sleep at night because skin is so rough. I absolutely adore this cream. For years I used other pharmacy store brands in hopes to control my eczema from acting up, but this one takes the cake!It’s the perfect blend of creamy yet absorbing, leaving your skin with a protective layer of moisture without sticking to your clothes - like some other “eczema-specific” brands. I use this after every shower and I have yet to have a flare up. Definitely a necessity for the winter time, and especially for those who want to take care of the quality of their skin.On top of that, it’s completely affordable. For those without the ability to go to a dermatologist, this is a great maintenance cream. It’s even safe for babies! (3+ months)Would definitely recommend.

Alot of cleansers break my face out and i cant use them as a daily face wash. With this cleanser you can use it everyday. Its free of harsh chemicals and its unsented and it moisturizers my face without being oily plus its soap free.

I have seborrhic dermatitis in my T-zone aside from having really sensitive skin. I used the regular Cetaphil cleanser and in the long run, it made my skin dryer. I work in a hospital so wearing a mask everyday made it worse for my skin. I tried this type and Cetaphil and it is a lot better than the regular one. It doesnt dry my skin like the regular one. It is also very economical because you only need a very small amount and still lathers nicely. Volume wise, this feels more expensive than the regular Cetaphil but it's really not. It may be half the size of the bottle with pump but this type of Cetaphil will still last a long time because you only need a very small amount to wash your face. Bottom line, great price with great results

I love this product, while I don’t have eczema I definitely suffer from extremely dry skin. It doesn’t help that I live in extremely dry weather. This is one of my favorite body lotions, I go through a lot of lotion so it definitely helps that this is affordable. I would recommend this to anyone with dry skin who needs a little extra boost.

This wash is very milky and thick. It says it does not contain soap but it still lathers which I like. I'm not sure if it is because my skin is so dry but this wash does burn/sting my face when I apply it. Be very careful to not get this in or around your eyes because it will burn horribly. I purchased this for $19.99 at Walgreens which is usually a bit more than I care to spend on a face or body wash unless it gives stellar results and/or clears up my acne. But I am willing to spend a little more on a brand I know and trust such as Cetaphil. This does make my face feel nice after I use it but like I said, I haven't seen any dramatic results as of yet. But I will keep using it to see if that changes and will update my review if it does. I would recommend trying this wash if you struggle with eczema or if you don't mind spending more money on a face/body wash. And I could be wrong, maybe this really isn't suitable for the face but if that's so then they should move it out of the face wash section.

This was recommended by my dermatologist for dry skin. I do love this, it’s my go-to! I definitely still have to moisturize after the shower or else my skin is still itchy. I wish this left a bit more moisture on the skin, but maybe that’s not do-able in a wash off form. Highly recommend for sensitive dry skin! I’ve used this for years now.

My God! It really is a moisturizing body wash!

Whenever I heard 'moisturizing body wash/soap' I used to think to myself who are they kidding. How can a soap clean you and also moisturize your skin like a lotion. That's ridiculous, I thought. Well, ladies, I've been proven wrong by this little fellow. This actually does what it claims. I have very dry skin everywhere and after I use this creamy wash I feel my skin has become very soft, supple and kissable. It lathers just enough. It has no special fragrance but I don't care about that. I only wish this was cheaper...a lot cheaper. If it wasn't for the price I would have loved to stick with this one. Ofcourse applying a lotion after bath will get rid of your dryness for good but I'm sometimes lazy to apply lotions. This wash has been my savior.
