I've had this pursespray for over a decade, though mine is linked to my old signature fragrance Coco Mademoiselle. I used to adore that perfume, but I've outgrown it a bit now that I'm in my mid 40s. It's still a very nice and elegant edp, don't get me wrong, but my fragrance taste has developed towards heavier stuff: Unisex Gourmands, Middle Eastern Orientals, Amber Vanilla's Florals, and Dark fruity florals. As for the purse spray itself, that will remain an eternal love. It's very pretty, super handy to use and I love the fact you have separate smaller 20ml perfumes to use for it, so if you don't use up a lot the others aren't opened yet and won't go bad as fast as a regular bottle (though I had an "old" brand new 20ml that I hadn't used due to a long bout of ... MoreI've had this pursespray for over a decade, though mine is linked to my old signature fragrance Coco Mademoiselle. Coco Mademoiselle isn't a heavy fragrance so it won't last much beyond the prescribed 3yrs). The spray atomiser is great, such a nice mist! And it has a swivel top, meaning that the atomiser is closed off whenever you don't use it. Twist the top clockwise and voila: a golden coloured atomiser with the Chanel logo op top becomes visible and now you'll only have to press it to get your wonderful Chanel fragrance out! The rest of the case is - with its white casing and small gold line - in the typical elegant, minimalistic style of Chanel. Ideal to put into a handbag with you for work or going out, take it on board a plane in a carry-on or to have it on a vanity (if you have a huge perfume collection but little space, like me, this spray is also ideal! ) While mine is for CM I'm pretty sure all the travel size Chanel perfumes could be clicked into it, so if you no longer want to use this particular fragrance you could still use it for Gabrielle, Chance or Coco f.e., Unless you prefer a different pursespray for each perfume of course... to each their own. I wish more brands would come up with this. Sure, I have several travalo's and they come in handy. Just like I buy refillable bottles and Refills whenever I consider a perfume a wardrobe staple. But to have a designated, quality pursespray with quite often cheaper 3x20ml boxes (than the 50ml bottle! ) that can basically replace a regular bottle indefinitely is pretty much perfection.

Most major designers releasing scents like these (particularly men's iterations) have long ago discontinued them when the youth-targeting ultra-tart genre proved to not age very well once it left the mid 2000's, while Coco Mademoiselle has not just endured, but also spawned various concentrations/semi-flankers to boot. The style is admittedly garish and flamboyant, featuring a ton of "sour candy" and denatured patchouli in the note tree. Normally I hate "fruitchouli" with a passion but this speaks to my flamboyantly gay side so much I am drawn to it like a moth to a flame. I can't say there is a single lick of unisex potential with Coco Mademoiselle, but I'd still wear it; make of that what you will. Coco Mademoiselle feels both like a scent blatantly catering to youth, but also irreverent to the concept of age-targeting in the perfume with the way it finishes. The opening blast of Chanel Mademoiselle is almost obnoxiously bright and puckering in tartness, almost scary for the first few moments because of how it resembles the aforementioned "sour candy". Lots of bergamot, lemon, ozone, and grapefruit. Ozonics of this period had the olfactory profile of a Jolly Rancher for the most part, and super-tart lychee sneaks into the opening from the heart, followed by a sweet jammy rose. There is some jasmine hedione in the heart too, and galoxide is definitely part of the profile too, so expect a bit of that "Fabuloso" vibe into the patchouli base. Dihydromyrcenol makes its presence felt too, and the unabashedly synthetic bounce of Coco Mademoiselle would rip most perfumes apart, but Polge seemed to have designed Coco Mademoiselle around this bounce, as the rose and patchouli from the original connect in a way that this feels like a Coco flanker, but will never be mistaken for Coco. A boozy vanilla and musk tone finish up with the patchouli, helping calm down the rakish top but retaining the sour candy vibe. The final finish is crystalline sour-sweet and only a smidgen animalic, like a set of training wheels prepping you for the original Coco, but still a lot of fun with performance to match.A lot of perfumistas will rake Polge over the coals for making something like this, and blaspheme the name of Chanel in anger, but I appreciate the risk taking here, for is it not so different from the risk taking he did with Coco or even Antaeus (1981)? This will likely have maximum appeal with the generation it was made for, who are all approaching 40 by the time of this review, and ready to receive slightly more-mature flankers like Coco Noir (2012) and Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum Intense (2018) with open arms. Coco Mademoiselle really was like Abercrombie Fitch Fierce (2002) but for women, or because it came out first, is it the other way around? Still, this neon pink fruity radioactive patchouli isotope with the half-life of a Hostess Twinkie is just too loveably tacky to find harmful, like a Hawaiian shirt on a significant other or a dubstep remix of Burt Bacharach, and when appropriately worn in warm weather during casual days out, will only reassert whatever mirth is present in a day full of fun activities. That's really the secret of Coco Mademoiselle's success methinks: It doesn't take itself seriously and neither should you. Thumbs up.

Though it is pleasant, I rarely gravitate towards Coco Mademoiselle EDT. But, I’ll give my respect to this line for surviving 2 decades now. Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Toilette by Chanel is a Oriental Floral fragrance for women. Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Toilette was launched in 2002. The nose behind this fragrance is Jacques Polge. Top notes are Orange, Bergamot and Grapefruit; middle notes are Litchi, Rose and Italian Jasmine; base notes are Patchouli, Tahitian Vetiver, Bourbon Vanilla and White Musk.

This has been my go to perfume for many years now. I have the regular version of the sent and the intense version as well as this travel sized version. I actually like the travel size version The Best because I’m able to bring it with me anywhere and refresh on the go. There’s also a wonderful lightness about this version that I really enjoy. I love that I’m able to have several of the travel size versions throughout my house and in my bags and I love the affordability of the refills. This style of packaging is also great for the environment.

I have worn this perfume for years. I made it my signature scent. I love it. I won’t wear another one. It’s mature, but not old lady. It’s fresh but not too floral. Just a spritz lasts all day.

I love the smell of Coco Mademoiselle. It’s a smell I like when I am walking around on a fall day and a cool breeze it’s hit me. I can get hints of linglering. This can be a heavy scent for some people. I can’t wear heavy scents. So, I always by the lighter side of anything I get and it is always perfect. The best way to put it on is after the morning shower. Just mist from outside to the inside to your neck and it will fall on your wrist and arms. That is all I use. It stays with me all day. It is one of the most wonderful scents by Chanel!

My bottle was defective and did not spray after a month or so of use. It just dripped down bottle and was completely waisted. Disappointed because its my favorite and one & only perfume ive used for over 10 years. Usually lasts me at least 6 months. Now i haveto wait until i can afford it. Was disappointed that the store could do absolutely nothing considering this is where i always purchase my cosmetics and perfume. Maybe i will hVeto reconsider whete i make my beauty purchases from now on...

I've worn this scent for over 25 years. It is my signature scent, my kids always know where I've been because of it. I always get compliments when I have it on ,and it definitely meshes well with my body chemistry. To all who say that this does not last, maybe you got a bad batch, I can spray just once and rub through out and still smell it the next day. Sometimes even after I shower. Even though it is expensive it's something that I treasure because it makes me feel luxurious and really good when wearing it.I don't save it for special occasions, I wear it every day.I would strongly recommend this scent.
