I enjoyed the lemon juicer a lot, I used it for almost a year now, until I recently discovered that my juicer has broken and doesn't squeeze as great anymore, the quality is just not great, I would rather recommend a stainless steel juicer, as the plastic just is not good enough. I use mine everyday of the week so would definitely recommend a stronger product than this one, I am a bit disappointed, as I have paid a lot of many for what I then thought was the best product. I was a bit hesitant to order given some of the comments from other customers in their reviews, but took a chance and ordered and I'm loving this juicer! I had been using one same weight but without gears mechanism so required all of my own strength to squeeze . Hoping the gears don't break as other cusomers have reported . The feature I like the best is the juice flows directly into the glass/bowl while you're squeezing vs. having to stop and remove the fruit then tip the unit to the side to empty which is how my current juicer (bought at Walmart) works. This does a great job catching the seeds and pushes the pulp far enough out of the rind to peel it off and put in your drink/water, which is what I do every morning (glass of hot water + 1 squeezed lemon). Nice idea?? But, this squeezer is TOO HEAVY to use!!!!! Difficult to squeeze juice out because you have to use extra force just to get all of juice out of lemon half!!! One could hurt someone if you used this to hit someone by accident t??? Clumsy, difficult to use? Hate it! Too late to return! You get faster juice using old style juice squeezer!!!
