What a beautiful name and bottle, they capture the essence of this fragrance so well! Pure Poison indeed smells pure, clean, like a cold winter morning, yet there's some depth and presence to it. Maybe a little bit of sexiness, too. A beautiful blend of white flowers, specifically jasmine, orange blossom and gardenia. I don't detect any citruses listed in the notes. Pure Poison is very smooth and creamy, suitable for any occasion from casual day wear to office to date night. It's icy yet alluring, very feminine. Smells expensive, too, kind of like a fancy hotel soap. Not gonna lie it also reminds me of baby wipes/powder a little, so be aware. Projects well but doesn't last very long

This is a white floral perfume with some powdery notes to it. The sillage is fine not super strong but it lasts pretty long on me. It gives me at least a good 6-8 hour wear and it lasts for days on clothes. The bottle is stunning! It has a clean smell to it from the white floras that I love wearing this lightly before going to bed. I wouldn’t blind buy this especially if you aren’t a fan on white florals. Try smelling in a store first.

Clean and serene, soothing and gorgeous. I love this perfume.

This is described at a soft floral. The packaging is beautiful. The smell is captivating it draws attention. It's sweet. It's alluring. You can wear this day or night. I feel any time of the year. Sprays nicely. For the price I paid for this, I was expecting this to last longer. The scent only lasted 15 minutes, no more than 30 minutes. This has jasmine, vanilla, sweet orange, a little woods and a little musk. I truly love this perfume. I get so many compliments. But for me, it does not have good longevity. I would not repurchase this for this reason. I will continue to use the perfume.

Like many others, I was persuaded to purchase Pure Poison at the recommendation of various fragrance reviewers on YouTube. I was certainly not disappointed. Pure Poison is a subtle yet sexy scent that lasts and has that je ne sais quoi that every "it" girl or "clean" girl wants. It is innocent yet commands attention. Think of a girl next door who is mysterious and intelligent. This is my most complimented fragrance and I will argue that it is suitable for all seasons! The jasmine is the most prominent note in this fragrance and it is a scintillating, fresh jasmine. The bottle is stunning and for the price is it hundred percent worth it!

Floral and light but not overpoweringly so: the other scents balance it out. Anyone who knows the poison fragrances knows that they are quite strong. This is no exception, however especially in the elixir version, just one spray gives the right amount of scent that you can smell it all day long (including going to the gym etc etc) without it being too strong. This of course means that the bottle will last a loooooong time. So I decided to take a risk and take this perfume home without buying a sample first, in the hope I'd still like it when I got home. You may have already guessed: I love it! It's completely won me over and I will definitely keep wearing this for a long time! What I will say is it acts different to different peoples skins as my sister sneaked some from my bottle one day and it was still a beautiful perfume to smell but yet on her it just was not the same scent that I smelled on myself. Though I have since been told a lot of perfumes react different to different peoples skins. I highly recommend this perfume to anyone who love perfume which will turn peoples heads and smell beautiful at the same time. This perfume is perfect for day or night but is totally gorgeous for romance. What I also like about this perfume is the bottle it is contained in a gorgeous bottle and when you place it in the light there is so many soft colour bouncing of it. In some lights it the bottle looks like full of soft pinks but yet you can still see soft greens, the bottle is pearlized and it truly has a pearlescent finish so therefore to me it is a beautiful bottle to display on a dressing table. Pure Poison by Christan Dior is one perfume which I highly recommend too all women who love to smell as beautiful as they look and who want to turn heads.

The initial spray bursts with strong jasmine notes, with undertones of white musk. After several minutes, the perfume opens up into the gardenia, orange blossom and white amber, softening into a somewhat powdery quality, but remaining dominated by jasmine. After just a couple of hours Pure Poison fades to a soft, musky jasmine that is barely noticeable. Pure Poison's powerful jasmine notes lend the fragrance an oriental floral flavour, and Pure Poison is sensual and seductive, sophisticated and mysterious. It definitely feels like a wintry, evening perfume. I do wish it lasted a bit better, but it's a truly beautiful scent that's one of my favourites.

It’s unlikely to disturb anyone if you wore it for a meal, but also gives enough to leave an impression on anyone within an intimate distance.I generally buy the smaller bottles and try to keep it out of light. While I don’t know the sensitivity of this specific formula, perfumes more generally are know to degrade over time and lose their potency, especially when exposed to light.
