works great! I had problems throwing with my right arm due to an injury. purchased Chuck it, to take the pain away. not only did it work well for my right arm, but I also mastered using it with my left arm.

Ball is junk

I ordered 3 of these because we've had them before but wore them out after years of play. I opened one up and used it for approx 4 days and the ball is already toast. I could tell when we opened it that the ball was different than ones we've had in the past. This was the tennis ball as opposed to the ultra ball that it used to come with. You could see the seam, which I could tell was cheaply made and would not last. Pretty disappointing that half the product is a waste of money!

Great product especially as I have painful hands and am unable to throw a ball far. I would have given five stars but my puppy started eating the fluff off the ball so we had to take it from him

Fits in coat pocket; enhances throwing distance

Exactly what I wanted! It fits our other Chuckit balls and just takes the strain off my cricket damaged shoulder/forearm. You still need to be able to throw and it doesn't send it miles (nowhere near as far as the full length version) BUT it fits in my coat pocket pretty much which has the advantage of hiding the ball from our doodle dog. Good for when we are in an inappropriate area and/or we want to lead walk him. It is quite expensive (relatively) and took 2 weeks to arrive but it is great!

Great size to carry on a walk

I thought it might not be a good ball thrower given the size, but is much easier to handle than the longer size (I have both). Also a more convenient size to fit into a small rucksack when planning on going for a longer walk and want to be spontaneous if you stumble upon a good place to play fetch. Wish I'd purchased this size before the buying the longer one.

Husband and dogs love this ball launcher!

My husband loves the Chuckit! Pocket Ball launcher! It has really allowed him to play with our dogs for a longer amount of time. It really saves his shoulder from having to throw the ball time after time and with the launcher, he can also get the ball a lot further and this allows the dogs to run further and get more exercise. My husband is now able to wear the dogs out before he wears himself and this alone is a great reason to purchase this product. The fact that it is so inexpensive makes it so worth it. The only thing that I've noticed is that they are not very durable. If they were more expensive I would not be happy with how easily they break, but because they are so expensive it is worth it to purchase them time and time again. Not the best thrower - crap ball

Toss the ball straight into the bin!Thrower is small so easy to take on a walk, but using the same action as other throwers it aims straight into the ground so you have to aim to throw up in the air above your head to get a decent throw - very odd action.

Releif for my arm

A good compact size to store/carry and throws a little further than a decent overarm fling with a flick of my wrist. Love that I can use it to pick up the ball so I don't have to stoop as much OR get covered in slobber. I imagine a taller person may prefer the longer version if that's a factor. This isn't going to give the omph you want for ridiculously far throws - but very pleased so far. Only compatible with some chuckit balls and reg tennis balls but have only used the ball it came with.

amazing. just the right size for my chihuahua jack russell. fits my dog walking bag and it’s not too long !when i throw the ball, perfect distance for my pup!
