This is a great mixer! Mixes well even small amounts despite having such a large bowl and manages well with a large amount of bread dough. The only issue is the level of noise. My mum and gran have their 30 and nearly 50 years old kenwoods which are still going strong but are also deafening. I had thought that there’d been more improvement on the noise levels in 50 years but it’s still very noisy. Not as bad as the old ones but very loud anyway. Despite this I’d still highly recommend it to anyone.

Had it just over a year and sooo disappointed with it. It shakes so much that it's fallen off the counter twice! Also the beaters have lost their Teflon coating and now leave grey residue on everything, which is appalling. Very bad quality!

Please note: this is NOT the same as the black version. I really wanted this machine as I loved the colour and the pop tops, but unfortunately it cannot fit the creaming beater or a 2nd smaller bowl. Those two features were really important to me, so I went for the black model instead. If it could have the ability to fit its own creaming beater and an additional smaller bowl, this would make it a 5 star machine in my eyes. I didn’t get to test this one out, but my black machine is lovely so I’m sure this one is a dream to use. If the creaming beater and 2nd bowl aren’t important to you, this cheaper model with the pop tops could be perfect for you.

2nd one that has broken in the tool socket not impressed
Bought this on sale in August 2022. If I was told at the point of sale that this mixer was not so good to mix buttercreams and pastry creams, I would never have purchased it. I tried to purchase a flexi beater to fix the issues but it is not available with this model. It shakes and jumps when I use it for a large batter for a mud cake or dough. Really disappointed as it's not fit for purpose. I would gladly get a refund and purchase other mixer with the flexi beater option. Disappointing.
