This product should come with better instructions in the box rather, than and a one sheet pictorial representation which seems to be a little different to the product. In my case, image 13 on the pictorial seemed to show that there are three LED’s to show differing levels of charge status but on the product itself there is only one LED for this. I had to telephone Philips to find out the meaning of the displays from the single LED and, in so doing, got pointed in the direction of a 64 page user manual on their website which gave the information on how to decipher the various phases of flashing lights. I realise that putting a user manual in the box covering all languages would be a bulky document but there must be a way of producing a manual in the official language ... MoreThis product should come with better instructions in the box rather, than and a one sheet pictorial representation which seems to be a little different to the product. Using the website’s “Find the toothbrush head that is best for you – Go to advisor” function and selecting G3 Premium Gum Care only brings up one option which is in white. I had to telephone Philips to query this and was given a different code HX9054/33 which the online advisor does not show. The website toothbrush head finder needs to be kept up-to-date by (1) not showing products “no longer available” e.g. HX9054/06 but (2) showing those which are e.g. HX9054/33.Furthermore, when trying to find my toothbrush on the Philips online system I type in the code on the bottom of my product which is HX680B but that is not recognised. The website needs to recognise all of your product codes.

After years of experience with a similar product from competition, which twice broke after 2 years of usage each, I am very positively surprised with my purchase. Construction is very compact, no external parts which could broke or detach themselves. Brush is very silent, lasts very pleasant feeling in the mouths after cleaning, battery works over 2 weeks. Cleaning with this brush is really a pleasure. Two suggestions for improvements: (1) signal after every 30 seconds of cleaning cycle is very silent and can be easily overlooked. In a case of elderly users who have hearing problems they may simply not notice the end of cycle. I think implementation of this small improvement would not be soo costly and complicated. This is the reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5, ... MoreAfter years of experience with a similar product from competition, which twice broke after 2 years of usage each, I am very positively surprised with my purchase. I do not know how to fix it, but perhaps your constructors could do a bot of thinking.I definitely and very strongly recommend purchase of this brush.

After about 22 months it became noisy and then a couple of months outside of warrantly all of a suddent the head just becase totally floppy. The mechanism is so loose it's no longer usable. These things are a complete rip-off. The previous ones we had, both batteries failed just oustside the warranty period. The quality is poor, I won't be buying Philips again, what used to be a reputable brand has gone totally down hill.

Within 16 months of careful use the spigot started to come out when removing the brush head and in use the head is no longer secure. I contacted customer care who said I would be sent a replacement after uploading my receipt to the link which I would be sent within 24 hours. It took 5 days to get the link, at which point I discovered that I had to return the unit before a replacement was sent. I also had to print out the documentation, but I do not have a printer. Given their delay and my impending holiday the result is a possible 3 weeks with no toothbrush for a fault that is known to Phillips as this is apparently a common problem. Given their delay and my impending holiday the result is a possible 3 weeks with no toothbrush for a fault that is known to Phillips as this is apparently a common problem. I am so dissatisfied with this I shall not be buying a Phillips product again, even though I have been using their toothbrushes for approximately 20 years. I was offered a discount to be used on a new product but unfortunately it isn’t valid on a Braun.
I agree with other users that the instructions are poor. I also agree that it's an adequate teeth cleaner. However, it may be me but I do not like the way the brush sprays the entire area with toothpaste/spit when taking the brush out of the mouth to run it under the tap. This is something I do frequently and I don't believe I'm the only one. Anyone who has to regularly clean a bathroom will not appreciate this particular problem.
Combined with floss and interdental brushes, the Sonic works effectively to leave your mouth and teeth feeling they have had had a good sort out. The Sonic feels comfortable to hold in your hand, or between just finger and thumb for light brushing. The 30 second cut out helps with moving from section to section of your teeth to ensue all area are covered. Battery life is exemplary.
I am happy with the toothbrush when it works, however it seems that there is a fault with this model and it stops charging within less than a year of use. I purchased in December 2020 and have required 3 replacements on the following dates:14/10/2116/06/2225/05/23This is very frustrating as it also takes a couple of weeks to return the current toothbrush and receive a new one.
A great toothbrush while it is working. I am on my 4th version as none has lasted beyond 6 months. Philips after sales service has been very good and supplied the last 3 toothbrushes under extended warranty. Clearly there is a design fault as each brush I have had the spindle has come loose and then the brush stops working. How long will brush number 4 last - currently 2 months old and working fine.
I bought this.sonic wonder ages ago and I gave it a good 8 hours charging time. I brush regularly and I still haven’t had to recharge it. This alone is such a hassle saver.I have also seen the benefits on cleanliness and whiteness after the first 14 days super-cleaning setting and there has been a real improvement compared to my old brush. Now I flick between the low and high settings depending on whether I’m brushing a problem area, or whether it’s sensitive or where there is a crown and I get a really excellent finish.I highly recommend this product.
I have 2 of these, bought about 2 years apart. The design has not improved in this time. Firstly, this cleans very well. Better than the dentist's cleaning even - I suspect this is removing some stains that scaling and polishing can't. And the good thing is, because the bristles don't really move, it's much more gentle than rotating electric toothbrushes, especially at the gumline. I think this model is as good as the more expensive models (in other words, don't need to buy them). Also, it's on lithium battery, although it doesn't charge particularly fast. The main problem is the button quickly separates and sinks into the body, making a huge gap. I already had one brush replaced under warranty. Both of my brushes are still working and in use, so at least they last ... MoreI have 2 of these, bought about 2 years apart. The design has not improved in this time. Firstly, this cleans very well.
