This Clairol touchup works great for me! I use it to color my hair about every 3 weeks and touch up as needed around my temples and hairline at forehead. It thickens my hair quite a bit and gives a silky shiny look. I leave it on for at least 10 minuets and rinse with water, than a Clairol conditioner and shampoo. It looks so refreshed, shiny, healthy and best of all not white.Update after 3 weeks - After having this on my roots for 3 weeks it has lasted really well and has got me through to my next colour with more with far less obvious regrowth it has lasted these 3 weeks really well and I will be adding this as part of my routine in between colours. I am so happy to have discovered this product and would highly recommend to others.

I didn't really like the picture of the hair colour on the box as it seemed to be a strawberry blonde shade more than a medium blonde. I have naturally greying medium brown hair underneath my dyed honey blonde hair. I did really love the application brush, though it is slightly hard to hold due to the small size.. I left it on for 15 min first time with no result. Then 30 min for the second attempt, Rinsed with water but it still didn't cover any grey or make any difference at all except for a strawberry blonde look that didn't blend in whatsoever with my blonde hair. I've tried this for the first time this evening. I normally have highlights in my shoulder length hair, which is pretty thick, but has also been very dry and damaged last few weeks. I've got lots of grey coming through in the roots at crown and forehead and this one box has covered it impressively well. I normally have highlights in my shoulder length hair, which is pretty thick, but has also been very dry and damaged last few weeks. I also applied it, then left it for 15 mins and I find (for my hair) colour takes better when the hair needs shampooing.One thing that is missing from the box though, is a small bottle of conditioner. I know you're only only touching up a small area, but you're still using colour and it still requires a good shampoo and conditioner afterwards. Would be better if Clairol added that in too.
