Well, if any of you know me well (or even a little bit) you know that a. I’m a Francophile and b. Skin Care is Self Care for me. So when I received #free luxury skin care from the #iconic Clarins, I was about as giddy as I get. I am very picky about skin care and the micelles water products is effective and lovely. The ingredients are sustainably farmed and alcohol and colorant-free. You can see in the picture here that the product is about half used up...I would never offer a review without trying it. There is no tacky residue - just smooth, soft skin. I really love these products and since I took this pic have finished the product and purchased for myself - I feel like when I wake up in the morning after using these at bedtime that my skin looks awake and fresh in all its freckled, often naturally ruddy glory. Quite a feat for a middle aged, young-at-heart gal! #ClarinsCleansers #contest #complimentary @clarinsusa @Influenster

I received these products for free from Influenster and Clarins in exchange for my honest review. So, I probably would not buy this for myself. The Micellar Cleansing Water has a light floral scent that is pleasant enough but I didn't really feel like my face was all that clean. my cotton pads barely had any dirt on it after each use. Also, after using it for a couple of weeks I haven't really noticed a difference. It dries smooth and not tacky but overall, no really change in my skin...it's not more or less oily or any softer than it was before. I guess that could mean it's the right balance for my skin type but with no significant improvement, I am not that compelled to change products. Sorry, Clarins. This is a very gentle cleansing micellar water. I have sensitive skin and this product never stings, burns or irritates my skin. It does not strip the skin’s natural oils and leave my skin feeling tight and dry after using it. My skin actually feels lightly hydrating after applying this product. It claims to remove makeup effectively, but like every micellar water I have tried, it does not live up to this claim. It does effectively and thoroughly cleanse makeup free skin and it removes any remaining makeup after cleansing with a face wash. Although it does not live up to its makeup removing claims, I never expect a micellar water to remove my makeup. I have tried at least 6 or more micellar waters, and this one is my favourite. I purchased this makeup remover because they were out of the orange-based one that I usually use. It doesn’t work AT ALL! It’s less effective than using water and soap. My mascara and eyeliner are typically hard to remove as they are waterproof so I expect that, but this product can barely remove light foundation and blush. It requires a lot of rubbing and multiple cotton rounds (I’ve also used different types of make up removing cloths with it). I don’t know why it works so poorly. I really wish I hadn’t tried something else when my original product was out of stock. I’m now stuck with it and keep trying it every few weeks to see if something has changed but I’ll just have to toss it. Disappointing for Clarins.
I love clarins products and this micellar water did not disappoint. It smells beautiful and is so effective at removing grime, makeup and excess oil. It’s so easy to use, I just apply a little to a pad and it gently removes all the nasties. It’s really gentle on skin and won’t irritate sensitive skin. It leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh and clean and I don’t have any nasty tight dry feeling that sometimes comes after using a cleanser. This is a high quality micellar water that is well worth the money because it looks after my skin. I love this product and would highly recommend it
This is the first time that I've purchased this product and will definitely purchase it again. It leaves my skin feeling really clean, smooth and without any tackiness. It's excellent for removing eye makeup. I generally use it as part of my cleansing routine each morning and night. It's gentle on my skin and no stinging. It's got a nice fresh fragrance and above all it's an excellent cleanser, gentle on my skin and leaves my skin in great condition. I will buy it again and highly recommend it.
Didn’t know what Micellar water was until I got a sample of this. Loved it and bought a full bottle. Very nice to use at the end of the day as part of the cleansing process. Removes dirt and grime before face wash. Also great to use in between treatments when using the peels or masks. Also has a great addicting scent (I tried other brands, but hated the scents). Now on my third bottle and it is part of the general collection.
I was not impressed with the packaging this time. I ordered a large hydrating toning lotion and it arrived in a plastic bag type container. Hardly conducive to display on my dressing table. What am I supposed to do with that! The product inside was good as usual. The miscellar water came with a different and cheap looking cap.
Ugh, when the beauty consultant at our local Shoppers informed me that Comfort One Step Cleanser with Peach Water had been discontinued .. I along with the other reviewers here was rather shocked. I have been religiously using that product for over 20 years .. maybe more and my skin is all the better for it. Now - this new product Micellar water has taken its place .. Are you kidding me ?? This product is absolute rubbish. My apologies for being so harsh..but DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE !! I am surprised that Clarins, a company that produces excellent and well loved cosmetics and skin care products, would even consider dropping a product that was so well received, and that out performs any cleansing products on the market, and then replaces it with this rubbish. ... MoreUgh, when the beauty consultant at our local Shoppers informed me that Comfort One Step Cleanser with Peach Water had been discontinued .. Very surprising .. I spent all that money, have used it now for just over a month, and though I do not have any complaints about the fragrance ..this product ..DOES NOT WORK. My skin is very, very dry after using this product, and now I seem to have developed a weird redness and some break outs.. Ugh..Please Clarins..bring back the Comfort Cleansing Peach Water..please..It will be interesting to see whether Clarins is paying attention to the feedback from their loyal consumers..In the meantime, I am throwing the entire bottle out .. what a waste of money.
I have been using this micellar water for three years now and it works a wonder! Removes my long-lasting lipstick easily and other makeup. I use it before doing my skincare and it is incredible. It doesn’t leave your skin feeling sticky like other micellar waters can. It also smells incredible. Totally worth the price.
