I’m a longtime Clarins user and I’ve always been pleased with their products. This one however, doesn’t measure up. Although it feels pleasant going on, it becomes tacky after a few minutes and uncomfortably tight. But more to the point it has an odd, unpleasant smell. So much so that I have actually stopped using it after after a week or so and it’s gone in the trash. I don’t know how to describe the smell, except to say it’s noxious, and certainly nothing I would expect from Clarins. This long term Clarins client is disappointed.

A lovely moisturiser. I bought it to replace the one I have been using, which was also a 'gel' type moisturiser. It dries easily and has a very fresh feel on the skin. I wish I'd bought it before.

I bought this to replace my usual moisturiser. I hadn't tried a gel before so was curious to see what it would be like. It's easily absorbed and combines well with Clarinda serum and BB Fluid. It's cool, light and moisturising. I have to say I'm enjoying using it!
My therapist used this at the end of a Clarins facial as I'd expressed interest in it. It is a lovely product. My skin is combination with an oily T zone and drier cheeks. This gel moisturiser is amazing and suits my combination skin perfectly. I was so impressed I bought it straight after the facial treatment. It's my new go-to moisturiser. Great price point for the tube size too!
This is my favorite moisturizer for spring/summer. I love the new packaging and the fact that there is more product for the same price (1.7z to 2.5z). I also love the smell of this. Wish they made a face wash and spf moisturizer in this line as well.
It’s ok. My skin becomes really shines by the end of the day. Checks are drier than normal. I had been using Paula’s choice, but wanted to try something different. Will be going back to it.
Only bought this a couple of days ago, and omg I have never loved a product as much as I love this! I have bought loads of different moisturisers over the years as I have a really oily t-zone (large pores producing too much sebum) and and out of those I’ve tried before I have found that usually mattifying moisturisers are for acne prone skin, (I don’t suffer with acne, just get the occasional spot around that time of the month) and I’ve found that certain moisturisers have just dried my skin out, left my skin feeling sticky, just sat on my skin without soaking in, but this was something else! I’ve had makeup on all day and I’ve still had some oils come through on the t-zone but it just looks like a healthy glow instead of the usual swimming pool of grease on ... Love this product! I wasn’t sure how a matte gel moisturiser would work but it does everything it promises to! As I have combination skin, the matte effect is important as I get a shiny forehead.

To start, I love the classic look of the packaging, but with a blue that really pops it feels modern. I really like that this is in a tube and that I'm not putting my finger in a pot each time I use it. I've found that the gel comes out very well. The gel is a blue colour and the smell is lovely. This is a true matte gel. As soon as I apply it to my face it abosrobs and leaves a matte finish. What's impressive is that you get a matte finish but a really hydrated face, perfection.
