Clarins Nutri-Lumiere Jour Nourishing, Revitalizing Day Cream 50ml

I did like this product a lot. I am used to the Super Restorative products so this was a change for me. The product is smooth and silky going into my skin, and of course the scent is heavenly. I am used to the Super Restorative products being richer and a little goes a long way. The Nutri-Lumiere is lighter and I have to use more of the product because it is so light in formulation. I was discouraged in that the volume in the jar was less than a full jar of the product, so in using more I used it up faster. The product was expensive so I will find something less pricey. So bad, I loved it so! Clarins needs to be sure that we are getting what we pay for.

This is my new favorite Clarins product. I use it before the Clarins Extra Firming Day Cream when I use that moisturizer and it enhances the effects considerably. It smooths out my beginning turkey neck to the point it is not visible and it moisturizes much better when both combined. I also use it with the Nutri-Lumiere Revive Day Cream when I apply that one! I will be repurchasing it when it finishes. It is worth the price.

This is a truly lovely cream, which is very soft, melting gently into my middle aged skin. It goes on easily, as it has something of a whipped texture, and you need very little for good coverage. It's slightly tinted in the pot but doesn't show on the face, so it's probably just ingredients giving it its hue. I've used it for a week and now have no dry patches so clearly it is doing its job. I'm pretty sceptical about beauty company claims but Clarins seem to have nailed it with Nutri-Lumière. I genuinely look forward to using the Nutri-Lumière each morning. But I've gone for 5* finally, because Clarins have come up with yet another superb day cream which seriously challenges its much more expensive rivals. You know which ones I mean!
