After trying all the nut butters - which are indeed good - this is by far my favorite. This line has got a few things going for it that make it a go to. This bar can serve as a power snack or a healthier dessert alternative, with its rich and creamy center. So, it lends itself well to not freezing solid while venturing out into the winter mountains. And that higher fat content (than the standard Clif bar) doesn't hurt either when your spending your entire day on the trail. And let's not overlook the full organic content.

I was a faithful devotee of the coconut almond butter filled bars, but have had to switch to these peanut butter filled bars since my favorite has been discontinued. These are similar in that they don't cause a blood sugar spike and have a bit of protein and aren't too sweet tasting. The flavor is ok: peanut butter is great. But it's not as flavorful and delicious as the coconut almond butter bars.
These were my go to bars. I would by them in bulk and eat them every single day as a meal replacement. I am SOOO disappointed they have been discontinued. PLEASE bring them back. They are my absolute favorite and have scoured the internet and every single store in my area looking for some leftovers of boxes that just haven't sold. I gave them away as presents and recommended them to everyone I knew. Sometimes I had them twice a day or would eat them as a replacement for a cookie. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring these back....I HATE the chocolate and the peanut butter flavors. This was the best one. PLEASE bring this back. I am hoarding the last few I have for special occasions. I can't believe you discontinued one of your best selling products. RIDICULOUS!
It is really hard to find this type of a meal/snack bar that isn't chocolate chip or chocolate peanutbutter. The peanutbutter flavor is my second favorite, but this one is amazing. My family hates coconut and was hesitant to try this, but they have said "wow, it doesn't even tast like it has coconut in it". To me it is like a upgraded variation of an oatmeal cookie. It is simply the best flavor of all of the Clif Nut Butter Bars. I have had trouble finding a consistent supply locally, so I have been ordering direct. Now, they are marked "unavailable" and I am so sad. Please never stop the magic.
The best Clif Bars you'll ever eat. These were recommended by a friend to have on hand for the postpartum period. And man, I'm sure glad I heeded her advice. I'd house a couple of these in the middle of the night during breastfeeding (pregnancy hunger doesn't hold a candle to postpartum hunger), and they have been the perfect protein-filled snack. I ended up ordering what my husband called a "snack shack-sized order" and am back for more. My affinity is for the peanut butter flavor, the chocolate or chocolate combination flavors were not my cup of tea.
