Clinique Deep Comfort Body Butter - 200 ml

This is a delicious body butter that glides on like butter on toast (I guess that’s why it’s also yellow, how fun!) and it doesn’t make your skin greasy or sticky. I love using this at night during the winter season before bed or on damp skin after the shower, my skin drinks it right up and I’m left silky soft. It can be too much for summer humidity though so maybe avoid that. I’m also surprised by how long this jar lasts me, a little truly goes a long way! The ingredients are something beautiful: shea butter, hyaluronic acid, glycerin. My eczema prone skin loves this!

This body butter is wonderfully decadent. I find myself reaching for it when my skin is very dry, especially in fall and winter. I really love using it on my elbows, knees and feet. When I use it on my feet, they do it at night, I put little socks over them and go to sleep. I always have the softest feet! Which is great because I live in the south where we all live in our flip flops. I can't recommend this product enough.

Absolutely Fantastic!!

I was very hesitant to purchase another Clinique product after a previous unfortunate experience with one of their men's products. The winter air wreaks havoc on my skin and I was desperate for relief. I had tried everything from the very cheap (Nivea, etc.) to the absurdly expensive (La Mer) and still was not getting results, so I went for this. Let me tell you, absolutely *nothing* has worked as well as this has for me! This is like a wrapping yourself in a warm blanket...it goes on very easily and absorbs relatively quickly, despite how thick it is. I smother myself in this day and night - if I don't, my skin punishes me. Best for dry skin

Ok hear me out! This cream is literally THE BEST. I have had discoid eczema all over my body since the past few years and none of the ointments or medicines recommended by the dermatologists fully cured this condition. So last month, I purchased this Clinique's deep comfort body butter and started using it everyday especially after showers and over night. Almost 5-6 days of using this I noticed the dry eczema patches on my skin were healing and almost gone. And it's been a month and my eczema is almost cured and even the dark scars on my legs are gone. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has super dry or dry combination skin like me.

Body Butter Gone Bad!

This is our family go to body cream! It is fabulous! Unfortunately, the last 5 containers had grainy bits of sand or plastic in the product. I called and complained and was only told to return and either replace or get my money back. Something is wrong here! Another reviewer wrote about the same experience. I had to go to my local Dilliards to get the body butter I should be able to get as a loyal customer from Clinique.com. Help! Get the body butter back to rich, velvety and creamy!

Body Butter is Tainted

For over 12 years I have loved this product! I have found it to be a blessing to my skin. Why the 1 star review? For the past three months. I have had to continuously return the product due to bits of plastic mixed in the contents of the body butter as another reviewer posted recently as well! I have returned the product asking for investigation. And, after months, still no resolve! This is NOT the quality I expect from Clinique! I have used only Clinique products since i was a teenager, and I am now 70 years young because of it! Please Clinique resolve this issue. Something is wrong. And, NO, this is not a formulation change! I want my beautiful body butter back! When resolved, I will change my review back to 5 stars.

Deep Moisture. Medium weight texture. Unscented!

Nice, medium weight texture is good for all seasons. Moisturizes skin deeply, as the name suggests. I use it after my daily shower, and my skin stays moisturized the 24 hours between showers. I think it might even last longer than that. I like that this is unscented, as well. It's hard to find good, unscented products, so I'm glad I found this!

Relief at last!

I have Lupus and skin issues, dry and sore spots. I have used the meds given by dr. With not much relief. Some stain and are extremely messy to use. On a whim I tried this and it has worked wonders for me. Lovely feeling and absorbs completely leaving soft skin. My problem areas still there but much improved. Itching gone and I feel so much more comfortable. All the Clinique products are quality, try you will be amazed!

Rich unscented body cream

Great cream for very dry skin. It is a very rich cream that looks like a tub of pale yellow butter. It sinks into the skin immediately - leaving the skin very moisturised and soft. There is absolutely no greasy feel on the skin which is amazing as the cream is very rich. It is fragrance free so there will be no clash with your chosen perfume. It has a thick firm consistency in the jar which melts when you rub it on the skin. It feels luxurious. It is pricey but worth it for the level of hydration your skin feels after application. Absolutely lovely.

This used to be my go-to body butter

I have been using this body butter for years and have loved it, the cost was worth it. The last four jars I've used, though, have had some kind of gritty substance in it. After I opened the first one and discovered this, I contacted someone here at Clinique via a "Live Chat." I told them what happened and that they may need to check their quality control. The person thanked me and that was that. So then my next three jars had the same problem! I have continued to use the jars, not wanting to waste them, but. I do not like the texture.
