Clinique Dramatically Different Lipstick Shaping Lip Colour - Tenderheart

A friend gave this to me as a gift. It was clearly taken from a larger set of lipsticks. I gave it a shot, prepared to toss it out if I didn’t like it, but to my surprise, this looked amazing! I have medium-dark Indian skin and this color was amazing. I prefer my lipstick to be subtle, and will often blot it right after applying. I hate the obvious feeling of something on my lips, but luckily didn’t have that issue. My lips felt hydrated and smooth. My sister borrowed it and it mysteriously disappeared after, so I was forced to buy a new one. This is certainly one of my favorite lipsticks!

Beware: Formula has changed!

Why oh why Clinique would you change Dramatically Different lipstick, which I have loved for many many years in different shades? NOW, you have added a solid yellow stick of something else in the MIDDLE of the lipstick that I think must be "shea butter." Well guess what Clinique, I am allergic to shea butter, and this new formula makes my lips feel as if they are crawling with bugs! I have always trusted Clinique cosmetics to be thoroughly tested as well as fragrance-free, but no more. I will not be purchasing any more lipsticks from Clinique. You know the old adage, "don't fix what ain't broke"? Well, there was zero reason to change this lipstick, unless perhaps it was a decision based on a cheaper cost? If so, shame on you Clinique for duping your loyal customers.

DRAMATICALLY DIFFERENT SMOOTH, DOES NOT CLUMP

The Clinique lipsticks tend to be lighter on my lips no matter the shade.I tried SUPRISE, it's too light and shimmery for me, SKY is better giving me a darker tone. I'm giving A DIFFERENT GRAPE a try. I think this might work. I tend to like a darker tone, and this looked good on my skin when I swiped it across my hand as a tester. Overall the DRAMATICALLY DIFFERENT line does not clump up. Since I tend to "eat my lipstick off my lips" I can't speak for how long lasting it is. It goes on smoothly and looks great when first applied.

Hit or miss shades

I got one of these earlier this year in the shade Barely. It's a nice nude light pink shade, and I like the smooth texture and even application. Its a cream finish, not matte but not glossy. It's not long lasting at all, more of a nice traditional cream lipstick. So I tried bamboo pink on a recent sale and I don't like it nearly as much. First, it's a shimmer finish. Also, the shade in person doesn't look at all like in the photo. It's much more cool toned mauve leaning purple/grey and isn't what I wanted. It still feels nice on and if the shade is to your liking, it's a quality product.

Love the new formula!

Ok, so let me start off by saying that I was a huge fan of the old formula and have used these lipsticks for years. I was very upset when they changed the formula, because I so loved them the way they were. However I decided to give them a try even with all the negative reviews. I have to say I am very impressed!!! The color is beautiful and it stayed on my lips for a very long time like the old formula did...possibly even better! It is moisturizing as well! I love the color silvery moon and have worn it for years. The color is the same as the old formula I am happy to say. The same day I bought and wore this lipstick, someone complimented me on my makeup. I ordered Heather Moon and am looking forward to trying it as well! Moisturing, keeps its color

The older I get, many lipsticks, balms, etc, bleed past my lip line. People recommend a lip primer, but honestly, I don't want to fuss with a lip primer and have to do several steps just to apply some color to my lips. (I have enough lip things/etc in my purse!!) This "lipstick" is a wonderful blend of a lipstick and a colored balm. I have no trouble with lip bleeding and the color stays on pretty long - which is a big plus for me. This is amazingly hydrating on my lips. I truly love this. I now have 3 colors, plan to try more. **One SUGGESTION - please consider either putting a color dot on the top of the tube so we can quickly see what color we are selecting without having to pick up, turn over and look at the bottom. Pretty good substitute

I bought this as a mother's day present. My mom has been using the Clinique Long Last lipstick in the shade bamboo pink for as long as I can remember; since it's been discontinued, I thought this would be a good substitute. The shade and sparkle are great. It's very similar to what the Long Last lipstick was. My only complaint is that I don't love the chapstick middle because it has a slightly different, thicker texture than Cliniques other lipsticks. I honestly wish they wouldn't have discontinued the Long Last lipstick, but I would buy this again for myself.

Raspberry Glace #44 is beautiful and perfect!!!!

Hello, princesses! This is the shade you are looking for! I very recently found out this is the shade of lipstick Carrie Fisher wore when she was Princess Leia. I also found out this was a favorite shade of lipstick of Princess Diana. The lipstick is smooth, creamy, comfortable to wear, not sticky, not dry, stays put longer than most lipsticks and is a very flattering shade. I read in a beauty magazine that most people look best in berry (strawberry, raspberry, blackberry) or watermelon lipstick. I highly recommend this one! Try this one first my princesses. I don't think you will be disappointed!

This shade made me look ill.

I purchased this because I had read some favourable reviews for those of us who have not got ‘pearly white’ teeth.Unfortunately, although this lipstick went on really smoothly, I looked rather like the Undead when I looked in the mirror!!! Not a good look for me. I am very disappointed as this lipstick was not cheap. As I am unable to visit a store, being a little disabled, I have to rely on reviews to assist me in my choices. Will have to stick with Rimmel - their lipsticks have never disappointed.

Yes yes 1000 times yes

I have been using the "A Different Grape" shade since a teen when my mom would have it and I would "borrow" it so often she started buying own. I'm even wearing it in my 9th grade yearbook photo. I'm wearing it right now! I had a zoom call for work today and I made sure I had my face done for the camera with this lipstick, my Clinique serum foundation, and my Chubby Lash mascara among other products. Please don't ever discontinue this shade! It's my favorite one ever.
