I have been buying this coffee and agree with most of the other reviews.BUT why have Waitrose increased the price suddenly by 37%?I know everything is going up but I think that is bit steep even for Waitrose.

This is definitely the best instant organic decaf coffee we have found. The taste is good for instant, but the best thing is that it’s organic so no nasties/chemicals, which is hard to find in an instant coffee. Waitrose has the best price for this item

I am an instant coffee drinker and love the rich and toasty arabica. Wouldn't drink anything else. 2 mugs a day keeps me happy!

This is definitely the best instant organic decaf coffee we have found. The taste is good for instant, but the best thing is that it’s organic so no nasties/chemicals, which is hard to find in an instant coffee. Waitrose has the best price for this item

This coffee is delicious - almost takes like a mocha as it tastes a little chocolatey. Lovely bedtime beverage. Nice without milk too. Just wish the jar was bigger as Ill soon finish this!
Am giving the coffee a 5 * review. It's pricey but worth every cent - this is our 12 th time purchasing our bulk order of coffee. Many coffees are stale around 4 days after they've been opened - this one doesn't seem to get stale. Am also giving a 5* review for this company This is due to their courteous, reliable, prompt & professional service.They charge the same amount of shipping as the others do ,but we've only to wait around 36hrs to receive our order. Other companies? we've waited a week to get our order. They're always helpful ,,courteous, reliable & prompt. Our coffees are packed well, we've never had any breakage ( this hasn't been so with another company) Highly Recommended brand & seller!
I find it interesting that so many people dismiss instant coffee. Actually, unless coffee is made from freshly ground beans, it is likely to be slightly rancid and taste awful. In contrast, good quality instant coffee (and Clipper is undoubtedly the best) is always fresh as it has been freeze-dried so maintains the great taste of freshly made coffee. I honestly prefer this instant coffee over any other, even most freshly ground. I think people are misguided in being snobbish about good quality instant and are missing out. Sometimes the simpler option is also the better one.
I mostly have fresh ground but sometimes like this as an alternative, especially very late nights/early mornings. This is a good flavour and no bitterness, a decent one to offer visitors. The price is reasonable and the bonus is a very useable storage jar
My usual brand of decaf coffee having been discontinued, I selected this one on the basis of the favourable reviews and have been extremely disappointed in the sample of the product I received. When I broke the seal on the jar, that lovely coffee aroma normally experienced was missing and the brew itself is completely tasteless. I will be trying other brands in future.
first time I've bought this. Better than the Swiss behemoth's standard decaf, and in a more sensible size of jar, this is as good as the best decaf I've found. Whether it is worth the price premium is a matter of taste!
Yet another massive price increase on this average tasting decaffeinated coffee.I normally use this coffee everyday mainly because I'm used to it , but not anymore...was £4.50 then overnight it goes up to £5.00.not so long back you could buy it for around the £3.00 mark when on offer.Unfortunately I won't be buying it anymore.
