I purchased the original cloud 9 a couple of years ago before I purchased the alchemy and I find the original one a lot better in terms of heat dispersion and the overall feel of your hair when using it. The original wide iron cloud 9 made my hair feel silky and stayed straight through gym workouts. The alchemy however does straighten a lot better than other brand I’ve used in the past like GHD, Muk and Halo but not as good as the original cloud 9. Overall, still satisfied with the purchase but I do wish I didn’t purchase it for the colour and just gone with the original cloud 9 again.

I have medium length thin blonde/light brown hair but a lot of it, and it’s naturally very wavy. Looking at other reviews I decided to but a keratin silver bullet - worst decision! It made my hair dry and pulled at it. I sold it on marketplace within a week, and went to hairhouse which actually let me try a few straighteners at the same time. Well! The cloud nine was amazing. It straightens without drying or frying my hair, and leaves it soft and shiny. Worth every dollar spent (and lost!) in the process. Don’t waste your time with anything else. Trust me!!

Bought this for my mum and she loves how her hair doesn’t get frizzy after she’s straightened it. I’m not sure how it works but her hair feels softer and silkier after she straightens it compared to her previous straightener. Would highly recommend for women with frizzy/curly hair that what sleek curls. The only thing that is lacking is the wide plate makes it difficult to add volume but she’s worked around it by blow drying regions of her hair she wants volume

I was so amazed buying cloud nine hair straightener. It’s awesome, my hairs are thick and slightly curly and it took a lot time to get straight with the ordinary straightener but since I bought this it works on my hairs like a magic . My hairs were straight in less than an hour. It’s really amazing definitely recommend to those who got thick hairs like me. however ,it expansive but really worth it..
I have owned many straighteners such as GHD , Silver Bullit , KK , Vidal Sassoon and more. While they do the job ok, they are not in the same league as Cloud Nine. I have thick hair which other brands don't seem to be able to tame but the Cloud Nine wide plate really works. It makes my hair sleek and straight and it stays that way for much longer than when I have used other brands. I find it much quicker than others also. To satisfy my own curiousity I used another expensive straightener and timed how long it took and it was almost double of the Cloud Nine time. The end reuslt waz not as smooth as the CNine and my hair still felt "poofy" not sleek and smooth. I lovd my Cloud Nine and will never ever consider another . Thank you !
According to the marketing and advice of staff, the Cloud 9 is supposed to be the gold-standard of irons. I don’t think this is as good as my last GHD and barely use it as it doesn’t add much to my hair styling. I’m not sure if I have a lemon but this hair straightener is shockingly disappointing compared to my expectations for it. It doesn’t seem to work that well - it seems like it doesn’t style as well as my old GHD and when you do get some shape, it doesn’t really hold the same. Overall, it is heavy, doesn’t seem to work very well and I would look into other options. I really regret this purchase - shame, as it isn’t cheap.
I have only ever had a GHD so I was nervous to invest in a different brand. However, this has been the most incredible straightener. It heats up very quickly, perfect hair every time. I have quite a lot of hair so I was passing my old straightener through my hair several time to achieve a sleek look. But the Cloud Nine, I only have to pass it through once. I’m so happy with my purchase.
I bought this product about 3 weeks ago after reading all of the reviews online. Now I know why everyone raves about this straightener. I have very coarse, wavy, thick and frizzy hair and this straightener is the first to be able to tame it since my first GHD's bought 15 years ago! Since my GHDs 'died' about 5 years ago I have tried everything else - more recently - GHD's (not as good as they used to be), MUK (not bad but not as good), and now Cloud 9 which are amazing and in fact, perfect! They smooth, straighten and do everything that you'd want without ruining your hair. The additional gifts of a smoothing brush and hair oils were also fabulous. Highly recommend to anyone.
I recommend The Cloud Nine Alchemy Touch Iron to all of my friends and even my closest family members. It is such a great hair straightener it is by far the best hair straightener that I have owned by far !! It heats up so fast it’s amazing really good for days or nights when your in a rush to go somewhere, it also has a automatic timer so if you don’t use it with in a certain time while it’s on it turns off ! So if you forget to turn it off it turns off on its own. Every time I use it, it leaves my hair looking amazing. I am loving The Cloud Nine Alchemy Touch Iron !!!!
AMAZING! Now I have thick curly long hair & I have tried sooo many hair straighteners out there & this is by far the best! You get your moneys worth & the fact my hair stays straight for like the whole day without little frizz and baby hairs ruining everything, this is definitely my go to straightener! Even after I straighten my hair it gives my hair this shine & gloss like I just went to the hairdressers! I love it so much! Can even do light wavy curls with this! Highly recommend!
