So far so good, works great and feels great, with quality settings, a little slow but you get what you pay for in any case. I love it for my French press, I just wish it had a slightly bigger version. Overall great value, but not the best with the ceramic grinder. Mine chipped during the first cleaning before I used it for the first time.

Broke my last grinder so I chose to support Jeremy and CBC. Great little grinder! Easy to use website and shipping was quick. Enjoying with my local Queen Anne's Revenge dark roast. Thanks TheQuartering and CBC!

I really do like the grinder, but I have to point out some things which may just be personal preference. My griping is further down, but ultimately, this grinds nicely and doesn't bind up all that easy, just remember you are grinding somewhat hard - coffee beans. I was able to grind sufficient amounts by the time my kettle boiled.First, the Grinder really didn't like my Arthritis. I'm sure this will be okay for some people, but those of us with Arthritis will appreciate things that are a touch larger to wrap our hands around.Second, I feel like it needs to be able to grind more at a time. Not much more, just a little more, like a teaspoon more.

Wanted to start 2023 on a healthier note & part of that was moving away from the plastic Keruig morning coffee & toward the French Press method. I asked for the Coffee Brand Coffee Burr for Christmas & snagged a bag of whole bean Peppermint Mocha to test out the brand. First off, you know it's fresh when you can smell the beans through the delivery packaging. It was my first time grinding my own beans, & the burr worked perfectly with easy to follow directions for a newbie like me. All I have to say is I've been doing coffee wrong. I can't go back. The flavor is so smooth & rich. Guess you've got yourself a new long term customer! I'm gonna need to try all the flavors & what I love about this brand is they offer the traditional go to flavors like Peppermint Mocha, ...Β MoreWanted to start 2023 on a healthier note & part of that was moving away from the plastic Keruig morning coffee & toward the French Press method. I own a number of coffee grinders, electric and manual. This grinder is not worse than any of the other ones I have and use regularly, but it isn't exactly better either. On the plus side, you have an easy to set grind adjuster, a clean simple appearance, and a convenient compact size. On the negative, it is only big enough for a very small portion, like k-cup size. The hopper can't even hold half of what the collection bottle can hold, and it is literally the amount you can fit in a refillable k-cup. This would be quite annoying if I was trying to grind enough for a pot of coffee, or a french press, because you would have to keep refilling it, then emptying the bottle, then refilling again, etc. Also, while grinding, all of the components of the grinder wobble ...Β MoreI own a number of coffee grinders, electric and manual. Also, while grinding, all of the components of the grinder wobble independently of each other, giving the impression that it could come apart or break pretty easily. Lastly, the handle needs a longer extension in the connection end. It sits too close to the top of the grinder body, so when you crank it, it is constantly running into the hand holding the grinder. The edges of the handle are pretty sharp, so this is quite uncomfortable.I have only tested the coarser grinds, but between them, I don't see a tremendous difference. In summary, it seems like a decent grinder, especially if space is at a premium and you only tend to do single servings, but it has definite drawbacks which aren't obvious in the product description, that may be worth consideration whether this will fit your needs or not. I don't dislike it, and it works for the application that I am using it for, but it won't supplant my other grinders in their specialties.
This manual coffee grinder is great. Works just like you would expect. Fill it with beans, and then crank it. It is solid on construction and the ceramic grinder gears appear to do the trick. I like my coffee beans coarsely ground and this unit makes that happen. So far, very pleased with the grinder.
Grinds the beans well, and who doesn't enjoy some well ground beans.Would recommend for anyone looking for some well ground beans. Also strengthens the forearm by 37.9% after a few weeks of grinding, so it's a win win. Get them well ground beans and a dank forearm workout.Looking to compete in the woman's arm wresting competition next, winning, breaking records, all thanks to this awesome coffee grinder.
Was a little confused at the setting at first but figured it out. Sadly my old Kuerig finally gave up the ghost. I recommend you guys start making your own Kuerig coffee makers. They're pretty easy to make. Faberware is just as good as a top priced Kuerig.
The grinder as a whole is pretty good. It does what it is supposed to do, however, it does have a very loud squeak/chirp every full rotation of the handle. It is not from the wooden knob attachment it is the handle attachment to the grinder itself.Overall itβs a decent manual grinder.
Exactly what I expected in materials used. Performs well and looks nice o the counter. It's more work than I expected for so few grounds. I probably should have opted for electric version. Nothing wrong with the grinder; my mistake.
