These are a good look on any table and in the kitchen , Cole and Mason are a name to be trusted - a little bit small to use comfortably in the hand but does the job none the less !!!
I was tired of using a cheaper grinder, which performed badly, when using rock salt crystals. It's now a joy, it works, it works well.

Arrived in good time best grinder I’ve ever used
I previously owned a salt mill, made from glass. I found the condensation caused by grinding into a hot pot, made the crystals harder to grind. The really didn't dry out properly in the sealed glass. What I noticed about this new wooden grinder, is how it let the salt-crystals breathe, and dry out completely. Making it easier for the ceramic grinder, to breaking up the crystals.The only downside is this salt grinder, is the accumulation of leftover salt, on the kitchen countertop, after using it. More so, than my pepper mill. But overall, the design is a better way to manage the salt crystals, long term. I won't use anything but a wooden salt-grinder again.
