These A4 size (120mm high x 58mm diameter) salt and pepper mills are the perfect size for tableware. Beautiful natural beech wood and high quality grinding mechanisms. It was lovely to smell the freshly ground pepper! Really pleased with my purchase and great service from Harts of Stur, including biodegradable packaging made from corn starch.
I am very pleased with the Cole & Mason Capstan Pepper Mill. The traditional design is functional and easy to use. The pepper grinds flow smoothly and are not too small or large.

I was delighted to find that Cole & Mason salt and pepper grinders are still available - I still use one that belonged to my mother, it must be over 50 years old and still grinds beautifully.
