What a lovely looking mill set , it is very stylish and it looks great on my dining table. As well as the product being good looking, it’s also very easy to use. It requires 6x AAA batteries that are not included in each mill. The electric mills are very sturdy, they are tall but perfectly balanced. I found them very easy to refill. What I really like is that after you use them , they don’t loose any salt and pepper, like the other mills I’ve used . Lately I have dislocated fingers in my right hand, so I found this set very useful as I have limited use in my hand. My kids love using this set and I know that they are safe to use and not over do it with the seasoning. I would highly recommend this great set to everyone.

Bought these before and are still the same good quality. Have bought a third for family, who have a few dexterity problems. The button is at the top and just needs a push to grind. Batteries last a fairly long time but have some on standby as you won't want to be without the product.

After much research I chose this item as a Christmas present for some friends. Imagine my disappointment when I heard today that the peppermill is no longer working . My friends started using the set at New Year and apparently the peppermill stopped working about two weeks ago but they were too embarrassed to tell me . Initially they were delighted with tsign and seeming quality of the item but I totally agree with them that the peppermill should not have stopped working after such a short time. The salt mill functions beautifully

Great Salt & Pepper mills. Really pleased with their performance and very stylish look.They grind perfectly and are easy to use single handed, which makes life easier.I have used rechargeable batteries as I was shocked how many each mill needed.I would recommend these Mills. Although I haven't had them long, only a few weeks.

Thought it was expensive at the time, (£60), but the product looked so good.The salt works perfectly, just the right amount comes out , we use the correct coarse salt. As for the pepper, tried changing the bottom movement, but we get so frustrated, hardly anything comes out, then if you hold the top button long enough we sometimes get large pieces coming out. Tried switching the containers with salt and pepper corns(bought from Waitrose), but to no avail.We still have our other Cole and Mason mills bought in John Lewis Cambridge many years ago, tall stainless steel good looking, only thing wrong is the screw top of the pepper wobbles and cannot fix it, but it still gives good pepper when ... MoreVery disappointed with this product. Very expensive poor quality product. I purchased these mills over a cheaper manual set and found them to be a waste of time. One of the mills after less than a week failed to turn. On invetigation i found poor quality was the cause. There are 3 layers of plastic drive cogs driven by a small center cog attached to a small motor. The small plastic drive cog glued to the motor drive had broke in half rendering the thing useless.Poorly engineeed with cheap materials and simply not worth the money. But a manual grinder and save on baterries and grief.
Excellent! Had same brand manual ones for cooking (now use on table) but with arthritis, these are SO easy for cooking. Grind coarseness control great. Usual quick delivery from Kitchen Warehouse, perfect!
Bought a new set after the old identical salt mill gave way. They look great, the clear window is larger in size on the new models. The adjustable grind settings work well and the improve both cooking and healthy eating experience.No more nasty salt with anti caking agents, just good rock or sea salt. Whole mixed pepper corns give added flavour when freshly ground.I think they're great.
Unfortunately, we did not look at the reviews for this product in advance. We were browsing, needed some new grinders and bought these. When we got them home, we discovered they required batteries - no mentioned on the box. Each one takes six triple A batteries and like another reviewer has said, there is very little room for salt and pepper.Package information needs to be improved to alert buyer.. However we returned the set and received a no quibble refund.
This is my 3rd set of these expensive elegant electronic Salt and Pepper grinders. While my first set lasted 7 years until one of the front black panel came off, within weeks of buying the 2nd set, one fell out of my kitchen cabinet on to the stone worktop and cracked the base, John Lewis said this was not covered by the guarantee so I waited another 3 years before I could justify buying another set.These are a pleasure to use, feel lovely to hold and are easy to operate, and look amazing, I love them
