I would’ve liked to have just gone into Walmart and gotten it off the shelf, but I didn’t have a problem with ordering and getting this in time for the event I needed it for very hard for me to give a five star rating for everything because it seems like we could always do some kind of improvement. It has a removable waterproof barrier that you can take off and enjoy the stars on a clear night. Setup was easy and only requires three poles! I’ll use this for years and years. I’ll even let others borrow it, it’s so simple and well-built

Great tent, but the back of the tent lets in a lot of cold air at night because of the huge screen. I'm not sure how we're going to fit 8 people in here unless everyone uses foam pads to sleep on. We used a couple of foam mats for our two kids and put a queen air mattress. There wasn't much walking space. It kept the light out really well in the morning, though. We're not sure this tent will work next summer with a baby and the possibility of two more kids if we have my fiancé's two kids with us.

I would’ve liked to have just gone into Walmart and gotten it off the shelf, but I didn’t have a problem with ordering and getting this in time for the event I needed it for very hard for me to give a five star rating for everything because it seems like we could always do some kind of improvement. The tent was nicely packaged and arrived undamaged. I set it up alone in less than thirty minutes the first time. The instructions are included are very basic. Pay attention to the red tape on one of the pole locations, it needs to match the anchor hole. Nice size tent that could comfortably sleep 3-4 with all of their gear or maybe six on the floor with sleeping bags. I would say the only way this is an eight person tent would be for a bunch of kids.

Maybe 4-6 would fit comfortably inside. As others said only down side is the front screen room should probably have a stake to keep the middle from pulling up when opening the zippers but this isn’t a deal breaker for us The blackout feature is great. It’s not entirely dark inside in the middle of the day but would be great for an afternoon nap and absolutely I can see us sleeping in later in the morning with this tent. One person can set the tent up but having two people does make it go a lot easier. Rain fly for sure need two people to get it on. I can not comment on the dry/rain part of this tent just yet. A good many windows allowing for good air flow once the rain fly is staked down. The door is only single sided but does have a double window.

Pitching the tent is a little difficult because you have to fasten the top clips to the poles before raising the tent, as there’s no way to reach them once they the poles are up unless, maybe you are 7 feet tall. The big problem is the porch. Water pools on the porch roof, then when it sags and drains, it runs into a screen cutout on the side of the porch, and it repeatedly saturates the tent body at the front of the tent inside the porch with heavy splashes of water.
