I actually really liked this toothpaste. I normally use Colgate so i wasn’t expecting there to be too much difference with my normal toothpaste but this was great. I feel like after i brush my teeth the clean is like that of when I’m at a dentist. The taste took a few brushes to get use to. It’s not overly minty like some tooth pastes. But i’ve been using this for weeks now and I don’t mind the taste at all. Extremely impressed with it!!

My normal toothpaste is Colgate Cavity Protection Great Regular Flavour and I found Colgate Total Advanced Clean to be similar although with slightly more zing in the taste - this wasn't too strong, but just enough to know that the toothpaste was reaching all parts of the mouth. The consistency of the Total Advanced Clean toothpaste was similar to the Cavity Protection Great Regular Flavour so changing across was easy. The toothpaste tube has a large cap and dispensing the toothpaste was easy and mess free. I haven't finished the tube yet but it looks as though it will be easier to get the last of the toothpaste out compared to the plastic tubes with small caps.

I like that it reduces bacteria by removing plaque & tartar thus preventing cavities & protecting gums which is important as my Mum lost her teeth due to gum shrinkage. Also important to me that this contains whitening ingredients as i always use a whitening toothpaste as well as freshening to avoid bad breath problems. One negative point with this & many toothpastes is the larger lid size & non flexible tube making it difficult to store tube in my toothpaste/brush container as well as getting last of the toothpaste out as it can't be rolled up. I found that the flavour was quite nice without being over bearing. You didn't need to use much to get you whole mouth clean. I like the fact that the toothpaste covers so many benefits. It definitely is a Total mouth cleaning paste. I like how it lasts for the 12 hours & that it reduces bacteria with it's advanced clean. Being from Colgate you expect great quality & this is what I felt like I got.
Great tasting toothpaste that leaves your mouth feeling fresh. Always feel cleaner after using this one to other toothpastes. Would recommend it.
I use the "Advanced Clean" although to me they are all the same and it's just marketing. But I give it a full 5 stars because it has a pleasant taste, it foams up enough to make brushing easy and most importantly it does protect teeth and gums. It's a good quality toothpaste.
I have used this in the past but my youngest son still uses it, preferring it to the one we use. He needs something with strength to help his teeth as they aren't particularly good and the need to slow the dentist visits down come down to the effectiveness of this tube. So far to good.
As someone who drinks 2 coffees and several cups of tea a day, I wanted to see if the new and improved Colgate Total toothpaste could noticeably whiten my teeth after 5 days of use. On my first day I noticed my teeth appeared polished. Off to a good start! After 5 days of using the toothpaste day and night my teeth looked a shade whiter, my gums felt clean with no irritation and my breath was fresh without being over minty. My teeth didn't feel like the enamel was being hit with abrasive ingredients. Overall my teeth looked more polished and whiter, with clean and fresh gums and breath. I am going to buy this product in the future ,as it did improve the appearance of my teeth.
I have been using this product for quite a while now and I will continue to purchase it. It cleans and feel refreshed. It lasts a long time. It has kept my teeth white and healthy over the years. I also like that it doesn't have that strong peppermint taste as I'm not a fan of that. I like it, I like it alot.
good taste. other than the flavour of the toothpaste, there's nothing special about it. it just feels like your normal, average toothpaste. I couldn't really see any differences on my teeth
