Command Micro Hooks - White (3 Pack)

While they do stay after you place them for a little while, after 1-2 hours, the sticky wears off. I have even tried using 4 at a time on 1 small item, and it still ended up falling to the ground.

I used these recently to put up Christmas decorations in my newly painted kitchen. I was so worried about using them on the new paint. I didn't like the decorations in that spot so I had to remove the hooks. Came off the wall no problem and didn't wreck my paint! So relieved. Currently re-using them in a different spot and holding up well. The white is a little on the ugly side, so I wrapped some greenery around it and you can't see it Will definitely use again.

I get command hooks for all my household needs. I live in an apartment and always have so putting holes in the wall is questionable. Command hooks come in all shapes and sides and with Velcro or sticky options! I use smaller hooks by the door for my keys, or in the kitchen for fairy lights. I have larger hooks around for coats or robes, even wires! We’ve had hooks to put our mitts by the stove on and they’re fine next to heat. We’ve also moved them around and they don’t take off paint at all. The hooks themselves stand to hold tons of weight. These things are magic! A must have.

Damaging Product

Used these hooks to put my shell lights up in the patio. When the end started to come down taking a large chunk of paint with it, so I decided to remove the rest of them. I cannot get them off - the tab pulls off and is pulling the paint off the ceiling!!! This is a mess and I don't know how I'm going to fix it. Would not recommend this product to anyone - beware of excessive paint damage!!!!

Doesn’t work

I recently purchased a new home and didn’t want to damage the walls. I went out and spent nearly $75 on tons of different command strips and hooks. So far, not ONE of them has held up more than a few days. I have broken Pictures grams and wall decor because things fall off the walls constantly. It isn’t a weight issue because we bought strips and hooks that hold 5-8lbs and only hanging things with them that weight a pound or 2. Completely wasted money. Do not recommend.

RUINED MY WALL!!!!!

i bought this product only a few weeks ago to use as a bathrobe hook. when i tried to remove it, it would not come off and the hook broke off and the product stayed adhered to the wall. i tried again and the hook ripped off a large and noticeable chunk of the wall. I now have to re-texture and repaint, which will mean having to purchase new paint and texture and will not be able to use my bathroom for at least a few days. this is not acceptable. WILL NOT PURCHASE AGAIN.

I usually use the Command picture hanging strips and they work very well for me so I figured the hooks would work just as well. The whole point of using these hooks was so I didn’t have to nail holes in my wall. A few days after hangino them, I decided to move them higher, which is the advantage of “damage free” hooks, right? Wrong. I pulled the tab the way the instructions said to remove it and it ripped the paint off of my wall. Now I have 2 nickel sized patches of paint missing where the hooks used to be. I don’t even know where to start to fix this. So disappointed.

Serves the Purpose!

As a therapist, teacher and church elder I have found that Command Strips of all kinds are a wonderful accessory-particularly for temporary installations of posters, charts, maps and articles that need to be hung on a wall. They provide a strong hold and do not damage walls if removed correctly. The only "con" I have is that when removing the strip, you have to be careful to ease the strip down or when the plastic pieces separate one of them may snap and hit a finger. I recently purchased holders for small and medium-sized frames that I wanted to mount in my home. I did not want to drill holes or use nails for fear of damaging the old plaster, so I went for the Command Strips. Bingo! Worked perfectly.

Every single one has fallen off. It is not from weight as they did it the next day and had not had anything hung on it. I am caregiver for a disabled woman. She can not afford to buy a product and have it not work. I have the larger and after a period of time they started failing.

Works OK

I needed some small hooks to hang plastic holders. These work OK. The Command brand has always been a good brand to use. I think this time I may have selected and purchased hooks too, too small for my use.
