Bought a front and rear in DH casing, terrible to mount. After I failed took them to local shop, owner and two mechanics broke two levers finally got one mounted gave up on the other. tryed on two different wheel sets used soap , straps , all the tricks. Back to Maxxis for me.

Holy shiz balls this tire is amazing! Wanted to try something that wasn't Maxxis or Schwalbe and boy was I not disappointed. This tire is a mangler and is massive, I hate climbing anyway so weight or grip doesn't matter as once it turns downhill this thing grips like nothing else. Would 100% recommend this beast to anyone.

Very comparable tread pattern to Assegai. DH Casing weight approx 1100g. The beads are quite still and difficult to setup, but I don't have any concerns about burping this tire.

I purchased this tire to replace my Maxxis DHF, and wanted to try something different. I've been using Maxxis tires for years. This tire has very good grip, and the weight is not too heavy. It's perfect for mixed terrain. I will be purchasing this tire again in the future.
Can't say enough about these tires. Although they are a bit wider than what I was running before, I managed to stuff them on my stock Trek Marlin 4 wheels without a problem. The first time out, they rubbed on the frame (the back tire, in the turns), but after a slight increase in tire pressure, the noise was gone. In terms of performance, night and day difference. They have excellent traction on the mixed (sandy-hard pack) terrain we have here in southern Arizona and the increase in road noise and/or rolling resistance when running on the hard top is negligible. A worth while upgrade to the mule and will purchase them again.
Absolutely fantastic tires, I used this and a Kryptotal Rear and the grip on the wet trails was fantastic. They also griped really well on the dryer bits of track. After I have had a longer time on the tires I will update ,my review if anything changes.
This is the worst tire i have ever used. It took me about 5x's longer to mount than any other tire i have ever used. The grip was disappointing and I flatted it 4 times in two months. I haven't flatter 4 times in the last 5 years with other tires. I would give this zero stars if it were an option. You'd be better off with $15 walmart tires.
Outstanding grip. True sizing. Chonky but light. The Krypto/Argo combo are a perfect fit for almost any trail condition.
Sidewall tore on second ride on ground I have ridden for 20 years. First tire I have ridden with a rip like that. Ruined a winter ride which are few and far between. Should have stayed with Maxxis. The tire was a good climber and handled well.
Love this tire -- comparable to assegai cornering wise but lighter (dh casing) & rolls faster! Only gripe is the claimed 1290 weight was 80g off -- came out at 1380g.
