Whereas with others, it would be the "lower" start price of 6.99 times 13 for about $91. So yes, Copics cost more to start with, but are wayyy more value to you in the long run. Now, I love Prismacolors and still own some, but the value lies with Copic. I also live for the quality and look of Copics. They are unlike any other alcohol marker out there! But I will say, if they just cost too much for you, then you can start with a Copic Ciao set from Amazon which is way cheaper than retail OR try this other brand called Art n' Fly. They don't have as many colors but still a great collection of around 96 (or a little more), and they are also refillable!!! I recently got their new 12 pack of skin tones and I will say, these are some quality markers. They are actually pretty similar to Copics! Art n' Fly has some quality markers for less, and I love their skin tone 12 pack. So, I would say these are perfect if you aren't sure or aren't able to start off with Copic! I hope this helps!

Of course, the ultimate Marker set. They are amazing. I would make sure that you are interested in doing a very specific type of coloring. If you do a lot of detail work or something like that you may be interested in purchasing their fine liner tips that they have available but that can be kind of difficult to manage with the cost and everything. I do a lot of really fine detailed work where I use a lot of very fine tip pens Sharpies things like that and it is a little bit more difficult to use the copics the way that they're supposed to be used. Maybe is this will give me a chance to Branch out and try some other styles and advancement. But overall they are beautiful they are layered they are everything I was looking for with the exception of the fine liner tip

I really can’t afford a set of Copic markers right now but I did get the flesh tones as I can’t find any other markers that mimic what skin really does look like tone wise. I’m 44 and getting back into drawing, fashion..people, etc. Copic truly are amazing and in this case you do get what you pay for. Settling if you have to fine but if you can get them, get them. I only wish there was one lighter shade for the deeper tones to add to the pack. Overall, love Copic and the variety of shades and mostly performance is amazing.

These allow use of very fine details in intricate drawings. My granddaughter uses to draw beautiful anime work. They are extremely expensive but helpful is they are refillable. i only have bought 2 copic markers in a green shade and i would say it was PRICY. i bought one marker and it was already 10 bucks! i liked the brush nip of it, it was very smooth and soft to color/write with it. the ink was very up notch in quality and blended very well with the other marker i had. and to mention, i like how copic has refillables for their markers which is cheaper than the actual marker. you can refill the marker up to 6-10 times. i also like how copic has a variety of colors to choose from, i wish i had more money to purchase them! the only downside to these markers is the price ;-(.

100% LOVE. These markers are amazing and these are the more affordable Copic markers. These markers are so easy to use with the duel tips, the chisel for more landscape pieces and the brush nib that is amazing for character designs and small details. This set was great for me cause it had a full range to colours where I could achieve most if not all my design needs and pieces. The blending is do easy with the Copic and the ink quality of great and because they are refillable you do have to buy the set all over again. Overall I love these markers and they are amazing and worth the money to any artist.

Review of COPIC Ciao Set of 24 Basic Colours

I’m a huge Winsor and Newton Promarker fan. They have changed the way I get my arty fix completely.I wanted to know what all the fuss was about with Copic markers after having watched hours of tutorials and their die hard fans so I got myself a Black Friday bargain to try them out and my conclusion after a couple of days glued to my pad... Excellent with honours!I don’t think the colours are quite as vibrant as pro markers and sometimes they appear a little more transparent but I love the brush nibs, they are just fantastic and so many colours to choose from. I will definitely be buying more to use aside my beloved pro markers and as mine are Caio markers I am bursting to try the sketch out.So.... anyone wanna buy a house. 🙂

Very good value for Copic markers

These markers are fantastic and this is a fantastic price for a set of 12. They come in a very nice hard plastic case and the color selection is wonderful for only 12 markers. These are the cheapest I have found them per marker and I have looked everywhere. I hope Target starts carrying more than just this one set at some point. I give them an A !
